JCC How well do you make your bed

I make my bed every day, partly out of habit to protect the sheets from pets, but I can't say I always do a great job.

 

You're all doing it wrong

I only make the bed so the cat doesn’t vomit on the sheets.

i just shake the duvet so that it falls flat over the bed instead of laying all curled up. i call it making it. i change the sheets every wednesday tho so i figure that makes me not a barbarian.

 

I have not made my bed since 1994. That's the year I left the Navy.

 

I want the bed to think it's getting made, like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas.

 

For a language so rich with vocabulary, I still think the expression 'making the bed' is insultingly childish.

It's like how Canadians say "close the light".

I never make my bed when I am single.

I guess you could say that since 2000 I have been making my bed for 14 of those 21 years

As for me, my bed-making has deteriorated abysmally since I retired. I really ought to march into my bedroom at 0500 banging on a trash can and flip the bed over because it looks so bad.
