Initial tests came back negative (which is good) for cancer on Friday. The doctor didn't feel the need to continue additional cancer tests after that, like the 4 tests I had last summer. On the flipside of that, I'm on a cocktail of meds for the next 2 weeks and I am on strict orders for a long-term diet change. Sad thing is my diet is typical of the average blue-collar American worker; the worse thing is the doctor thinks I'm one of those very few oh so lucky men to have developed a condition between my prostate and bladder. Which means, if these meds do the trick with my new dietary restrictions, then we found the problem, but which also means I'll be on a bummer of a diet for the rest of my life.

 

What kind of diet we talking about here?

 

As a fellow blue collar worker who tries to stick to healthy options despite no access to a microwave or refrigerator, I too am curious about this.
