Yoda would look better if he was yellow.

Han Solo’s fame comes from his JohnWayne cockiness and look in ANH. He’s not a deep character, but he is defended like a sacred icon or dogma.

Forgot Shmi... Even jar-jar and watto, those kaminoans and nute gunray are more interesting.

And JJ of course based all his characters on Solo... Pathetic

I reslly wish they’d make a Shimi novel, and have Claudia Grey write it.

Great comparison. But did he “jump the shark,” in TFA? ;)

Ford's charisma made Solo a lot more likable than written. My friends all wanted to be Han.

If I had a friend like Han, we probably wouldn't stay friends for long. That guy's got some serious issues. As a movie character, he's entertaining, but as a person, he's pretty obnoxious.
I've heard people say he's the coolest character ever, but that would imply he's something to aspire to. I can see some of his personality traits as admirable - and he does get better as the Saga progresses - but in my view, Jar Jar Binks is waaaaaaay cooler.

Aayla Secura should have died sabering stormtroopers with her two sabers, standing on a pile of them before she dies.

unpopular opinions (gonna get slaughtered for these, but tried to be fair in incorporating all three trilogies)

    OT

    -
Though an excellent movie in it's own right, ANH is too 70's in look and design to be taken seriously as a SW movie.
    - The inclusion of Jabba should never have happened in ANH. Jabba just letting Han take off to God knows where, especially after stepping on his tail is hard to swallow, Scary, feared gangsta Jabba ain't
    - Ewoks do nothing for me.
    - the Hoth scenes in ESB are boring and it takes too long to get off that planet
    - Palpatine was the best thing about ROTJ

    PT
    - Dooku should have been introduced in TPM giving more suspenseful weight to his first AOTC appearence
    - the line 'you forget, Qui-Gon was once my apprentice, just as you were once his' is so tacked on it makes me squirm. Why should Obi-Wan have forgotten this? it's like Dooku knew we were all watching with popcorn and sodas.
    - Palpatine is not the greatest lightsaber wielder some like to portray him as and is actually quite clumsy with holding a blade, stance etc
    - Obi-Wan is too inconsistent a character for me to like, Stoic and by the book one minute, mischievous and playful the next. Which is why I prefer Guinness' latter portrayal of the character
    - I like Hayden Christenson as Anakin
    - love it or hate it PT is undeniably the most sci-fi out the trilogies, you can believe this takes place in a GFFA more than the other two trilogies

    ST
    - the production designs for these movies were dull, from costume design to unimaginative planets. The only exception really being Snoke dressed in gold and Kylo's lightsaber
    - no new lightsaber colours was a missed oppurtunity. The yellow one at the end doesn't, doesn't count :p
    - I think Snoke was a really underrated character and interesting things could have been done with him. Killing him off in TLJ was a mistake.
    - Porgs aren't cute, fathiers and vulptices were much better.
    - Luke looked and acted strange as a force ghost, you could tell Hamill was over SW by this point.
    - Finn was a really interesting character in TFA, not so much in the others. Same with Poe.
    - Rose Tico deserved a bigger role in TROS

    I completely agree with these.

I'm of two minds on this one.
On one hand, yes, they could have done something interesting with him. The potential was there.
On the other hand, killing him off had the potential to be really interesting, too, if it led to Kylo Ren really being the top villain. I was excited about seeing Kylo in that role after TLJ. But then they brought back Palpatine, and while it's always fun to see Palps, it detracted from the interesting premise that Rian had set up in TLJ.

I don't know what it is about the effect, but the lightsabers in the Siege of Mandalore arc look way too rubbery and bendy compared to any other animated SW project. And despite the mo-capped Maul vs. Ahsoka fight being generally excellent, there's is a slightly distracting 'offness', due to how different a pace it has.

  22. Maul should never returned
Anakin should never have a Padawan or an apprentince before becoming Vade
SWTOR is a good game but bad weird story
Return of the Jedi was worse than Attack of the Clones only the Jabba palace and Vader duel was good
    ST should never be made

The Mandalorian has way more boring episodes than exciting or interesting ones.

Clone Wars mostly sucks, with characters and environments that don’t have much personality, as well as a lack of stakes. Rebels was much better.

SW Resistance was a breath of fresh air, visually and tonally.

The Mandalorian is mostly bland and sterile.

RoTS is the worst of the prequels, with some really bad art direction and visual execution. There’s more SW magic in TPM and AOTC that’s missing in RoTS, which feels more generic, like cutscenes from some random sci-fi video game.

The sequel era/characters deserve to be further explored in tv/animation instead of just being brushed to the side.
