Amph Marvel's Hawkeye, Introducing Kate Bishop and Pizza Dog

Just seen the trailers for this, really looking forward to it! Barton's been great throughout all of his appearances in the MCU.

I don't know much about Hawkeye, Barton nor Bishop's versions, so I haven't really got many expectations going into this. The rumours of Kingpin from Daredevil returning have got me really excited though; would love for him to return.

I only recently watched Black Widow as well, so I'm excited for Yelena to come after Barton and see what happens with that.

Excellent interview with several crew members at Total Film / Gamesradar. While available footage shows they will address Ronin, it’s pretty great that Jeremy wanted to go there too.

I am glad they are not sweeping that period under the rug. Lot of fertile storytelling potential with that. I cannot wait for this show, even though most people usually say "Why do you care about Hawkeye?"

 

Haha. I think it's more Renner's portrayal that I like. I find his deliveries to be pretty good. And to be honest I think him just standing up with the Avengers and shooting arrows with no camouflage or anything is pretty cool.

 

Isn't this supposed to be on Disney + today I can't find it?

It definitely looks Kate-centric, which is fine by me because Hailee is fantastic (She actually gets me to root for Kate. I am not so fond of Kate in the comics).

I’m so there for Clint (and more Ronin Clint), Echo, Kate, that Rogers The Musical show tune and to just have fun. This series is exactly what I could use right now.

 

There are already reviews online of the 2 first episodes. Disney already let critics saw it.

 

The Tracksuit Draculas are on point. Very interesting that

Echo is working with them and possibly Yelena to start with. That gels with Echo being raised by Kingpin. I wouldn’t be surprised once Yelena finds out the truth she and Maya (Echo) ultimately switch sides.

Yet another diss...which is

 

First two episodes of Hawkeye are super fun. Can totally see why they released them together although episode 2 has a recap of episode 1 which seems pointless back 2 back.

I kinda figured out what was going to happen in the first scene about 30 seconds before it did, very effective though.

I was thinking "Why are they starting the show at a 2012 flashback...oohhh right Battle of New York." Then boom!

Don't know if Clint's bad memories at the Cap musical needed a flashback visual of Nat looking up at him on Vorimir but I got it.

The 5 second montage about why Clint needs a hearing aid now was gold.

My THEORIES

- Cleary there's something shady about Kate's mom and her LITERALLY mustache twisting evil fiancè. I think Kate's dad wasn't killed by the chitaurri but by her mom to get heritage/life insurance money to keep her high life style. That heritage ( Kate's dad) must be what was talked about during the auction.;

- Altough the aparent ligthness of the show, hide beneath, is the question of the phisical/mental beating Clint took as an avenger. In many ways Clint looks a broken man. Wonder where it will lead.

- No way we won't see Wilson Fisk in this show. The shaddiness of Kate mom's comapny; her fiancè and his family and those Molotov Cocktail gangsters smell like a Kingpin controled operation. And in the very end they introduced his adpoted daughter from the comics, Echo.

Fisk would be awesome however I have doubts that they'll go that way in this show
