The Mandalorian Din Grogu [Baby Yoda] (Spoilers)

I think the next step is for Yoda Baby to become a combatant.

Providing Force firepower to help out the Mando, as he did back in episode 2.

The Wizard character in the D&D party.

 

I think the series will culminate with him doing something phenomenal.

 

The show is never gonna kill baby yoda it isn’t trying to be GOT Star Wars should never try to be GOT.

 

I liked this episode way more the second time around.

Haven’t met anyone who hasn’t liked Baby Yoda

 

It's interesting that I think Baby Yoda will use their Force powers again but A) it knocks them out for days/weeks B) it could be a narrative crutch if just Baby Yoda saves everyone at the end, it worked in episode 2 like gangbusters because it was unexpected.

Of course, I'd like to think they force powered themselves out of the fall with the baddie in this episode, I was kind of expecting to see Baby Yoda floating or something.

Also of note the official Baby Yoda merch is labeled "The Child" for the t-shirts and the whole bunch coming in the spring, so I think that means at least they are not getting a name by the end of S1.

 

The child would still need training eventually, although its possible it may of had some prior training with someone by the way it was using the Force . It certainly possible as its been around for 50 years.

 

There’s someone here who’s been complaining about him, actually. Only person I’ve seen do that, though.

He already has done something phenomenal: be the freaking cutest thing I've ever seen on my TV screen.

I'm guessing the Mandalorian file art on D+ will update to include Baby Yoda probably after Episode 8 is up.

 

This whole baby Yoda (what I call Yoda Jr.) thing could be a good test for the franchise moving forward. Considering the show takes place before TFA, it certainly begs the question as to what happens to The Child before those events. You'd think at that point Luke might've sensed such a powerful Force sensitive being. Maybe even Ghost Yoda might've told him about it. But as far as we know, Yoda Jr. is nowhere to be found during the ST era. Does that mean something happens to him? Would Disney dare kill off the seed to a money tree (in terms of merchandising)?

 

Thing is, he'd still be young at the time of TFA. Only 75, by my counting.

 

Ahsoka got through both Order 66 and the OT.

And whaddyaknow... so did Baby Yoda. This Force-sensitive creature was born about decade before she was.

Yeah, I wonder if their is a tie-in and the yoda creature pops up in the Rise Of Skywalker.

The timing seems to point that way - only one episode of The Mandalorian to go after the movie release.

 

I think Baby Yoda will determine the future of the jedi, maybe project luminous will deal with him post tros and he he joins Rey.

 

My dream is for Luke to eventually take Baby Yoda off Mando's hands and have the caretakers on Ahch-To raise him. Now imagine Baby Yoda surrounded by Porgs...

 

Then Widget comes in for good measure.

This episode we saw him doing Force Fingers at Zero. Did that delay him shooting, did that make Mando rush to save him?
