10/14 WOTR X-Wing Open Cockpit Volunteers

Seeking folks to help me work open cockpit day this Saturday from 10am-2pm. Costumed help welcome - I'll be doing "Wedge".

PM if you'd like to help or keep us company. We also have some minor repairs to do.

Like most of what they do, it was a last-minute request. Just found out this this afternoon.

 

I will be at the museum for part of the day cause, in honor of Chuck Yeager, the F 104 Starfighter will ACTUALLY be open for people to sit in!!!!

This never happens!!!


So I want to sit in it.

I don't think I've got anything else going this weekend so go ahead and pencil me in for helping and that'll give us two Rogues.

 

WOOT! At least I'm out of that darned surgery boot now - I limp a bit, but can at last costume again.

 

You need to learn to say 'NO' Cos We are busy cleaning & resting. I start working 6am - 2pm next week, need to get on schedule now!!! Oh & I'm re-starting the job search, I will see what we can squeeze in & you can always call if your in a bind, you know that right?

 

Yeah, I really do. I think they've grown to expect we can pull stuff together at the last moment. I need to reiterate that they'll get a better showing if they plan ahead.

I really wanted to be there today Cos cuz I had so much fun last time but really burdened with work this month.

Yeah, I wanted to go too. But both kids were tossing their cookies all night. Not so fun....

 

As long as I have at least one other person (preferably 2) for the 2nd Saturday of the month, then we can do it every month.

Next Month it's the 11th
