10-minute challenge--Missing Moments, 4/25

Ishy, are we allowed to run SpellCheck after the ten minutes are up? My stuff becomes illegible without it. Really. *begs*

 

I've added my humble contribution to Beyond the Saga. Angsty Jacen/OC.

 

I have added my humble ( ) contribution to Beyond as well. It's a little thing with Wes and Hobbie.

 

Spell-check is advised against. This is a challenge of raw elements. If you want to submit it to the archive or expand, spell-check then.

 

I didn't use SpellCheck. But I type things like thmnis instead of this. (And, FYI, I just fixed those without spellcheck.)

 

Yeah, hence we have people exchanging shoiklers for hubs as darkness crapped across the galaxy.

 

Yeah, I caught a few spelling errors in mine after I looked through it in the thread. Oh well, it's the mistakes and imperfections that give our submissions their beauty

 

And then the Jedi stalked off the fix the problem with his clock billowing behind him.

Okay, I tried, I really did, but my creative juices have run away and I can't come up with anything now. I hate that. I really do. Maybe I'll try this again tomorrow or next week.

Are these going to continue, or were they more of a one-time deal? Because if the challenge is going to continue, might I suggest having a weekly/biweekly/whatever... theme, so to speak? A word to focus our writing on, a word to use as a springing board?

 

This is ongoing for as long as people want to do it. I will update the first post and title.

THIS WEEK, IN HONOR OF THE SCORCHING HEAT OF AUGUST, WE PROPOSE TO WRITE EXPERIENCES ABOUT THE REBEL OR IMPERIAL EXPERIENCE ON HOTH.

I have to assume its still ten minutes, as this is still the "10-Minute Challenge" thread. By the way, I enjoyed your original submission.

oqidaun - I know what you mean, though luckily the temperature was only around 85 today. It was a welcome break from the sweltering death furnace of late...

I'll tackle this in about an hour or so. Glad to know this challenge is continuing, it's a blast.

My brain almost froze. I think you'll have to disqualify me--I went 10.5 minutes.
