Ordway is definitely in BFE! But at least our streets got plowed from the snow...because there are only six streets in Ordway. But we do have a slum. I took RDT there last time they were here.

So if I won the prize I want it to be a trip to a different BFE. Maybe Boone or something.

 

That slum was scary. I'd say scarier than downtown Denver.

But really only RDT and Zoom have a legitimate excuse. They have had their new baby home for about a week now. I can't wait to see him!

 

And don't forget the WoW expansion came out, too!

Unfortunately, I've really only put in about 5 hours of WoWing all week.

 

I'm still a WoW virgin. But I imagine someday I'll let my guard down and buy the game...

I've actually been playing Guild Wars a little bit. I'm a little lost though and it makes me feel really stupid.

 

GW is cool...but yeah, a little confusing unless you're running around with a group of people that've done everything in-game already.

Does that make me a WoW ho?

 

Well you did make a WoW gingerbread village and win a prize for it. So I guess that raises you from ho to like significant other or something...

 

Speaking of WoW, I am now handling internet stuff at work now, and I got to spend a delightful half an hour on the phone speaking with this guy who kept telling me how he needed his internet working so he could get back to work. Being polite I asked him what he does, he's a software developer at Blizzard. Yeah. Runs WoW basically. And that's what he needed to log onto to 'work'. I cursed him for unleashing such addictive products upon the world and he laughed, an evil laugh. He appreciated my comment about that too.

I told him about you Zoom! He said it's been hard to find talent in Californa and they're thinking about branching out to other states...

 

Ya know, I'd zerg Blizzard's mailbox with a ton of resumes if I could move to Irvine, CA. But there's no way we could afford to live there unless we had around $200k-300k saved up for a downpayment on a house.

We can always hope they branch out.
