Got an apartment in Malven, 5 minutes from work! Beats driving 1 hour each way to work!

Start moving in tomorrow.

Definately will attend the next meet!

Thankfully, living by myself. First time, can't wait! My own little batchelor pad!

It is a one bedroom apartment... the living room will have my TV, surround sound, futon and my computer / desk... definately a geek batcehlor pad!

Ahh in the country i have no neighbours for miles! I love it. Roam around naked unhindered!

 

In the city you can do the same thing but people stare and you'll mostlikely get courtmarcheled

To answer Brutus' question, I'm moving into my grandparents place about 5 minutes from Monash University.

And I'm ALL for a party at Mic's place. I'll bring some chicken over, someone else can supply bev, and we'll be set.

 

I lived in Parkville once and also Rowville.

People in Melbourne just are not usually friendly to deal with. Especially sales staff!

 

Mixo? You used to live in Rowville? I live there now........where are you located now-a-days?

 

We were one of the first house there. The school was in bush and i could see the Carribean Gardens from my front door.
I will have to remember where. Maybe 3rd Avenue?

Now i live in Ballarat

Im not sure of any others.

 

When i was there there was only one school, the primary. And also a drive in theatre down the road somewhere. This would have been late 70s

Riley i was only there until Grade 1! I remember going to a lolly shop near home and walking to a big supermarket somewhere

 

Hmmm....only big supermarket would be Stud Park or Knox.....and a lolly shop....hmmmm......i can only think of the one top of Wartook Way, about 10mins drive from here...... anyway
