1995 Super Bowl Indiana Jones halftime show?

If there ever was an Indy equivalent to the Star Wars Holiday Special, it's the Super Bowl XXIX halftime show. 83 million viewers and countless VCRs witnessed it, but little evidence can be found online. If you have a dusty copy, many would love to see it!

Haven't missed the SuperBowl in decades. Hmmmmm I think I vaguely remember this but I'm not sure. Maybe it was too cheesy?

 

Yes, it had something to do with Indy getting the superbowl trophy (the prize) and doing a bunch of stunts. I remember it being rather cool.

 

I was just under 10 when this came on I think. I wasn't into sports at the time, but I liked hanging out with my dad on Super Bowl night. I remember reading a comic or something until my dad told me "Hey look at this," and the next thing I know, Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood are parachuting into the freaking Super Bowl.

I have watched every half time show since then and not one of them has been as cool as the Indy halftime show. I think the night was a tribute to Hollywood or something.

 

I remember that all too well.

I have a vague memory of this; In 1995, I was 9, and it was the first time that I really remember paying attention to the Super Bowl (mainly because the Steelers, my favorite team, were playing in it ).

 

I'm willing to trade this significantly harder to find and more notorious video for it. Dust off your VHS collections for 49ers / Chargers Super Bowl XXIX and it's yours!
