JCC 20 years

It's sad, really.

20 years ago, after having lurked here for some time, I registered on the JC boards with a rather unimaginative and unpronounceable user name... I was 17, thought TPM was the best thing ever, and was excited to discuss the pointless minutiae with my fellow nerds.

Since then, I lived in 4 different countries, failed at one university, got a Master's degree at another, met the love of my life (here of all places), got married, bought a house, and had a baby.

Thankfully, I don't post here as often as I used to, when the JC dominated my life, but it's still a place I can't seem to leave fully behind. Lurking in some threads, posting occasionally in others, sometimes taking a break, but always returning.

For all its faults, it's a place where I met @Everton, so it can't be that bad.
