The volunteers were exhausted. Lola, Tahi, Mavjade and Ceillean were sitting there, bare feet gliding through the bubbling water, faces tilted as they stared up at the evening sky. No one spoke. They were too tired to move.

The place was a mess, flimsiplast and abandoned stories littering the ground but they were ignoring it for now. For a little while, there was peace.

The wind started kicking up a bit, a soft breeze but it began to lift some of the litter. White pieces of discarded fics floating by.

Ceillean grabbed one and smoothed out the surface. Sighing happily, she said, "Oh, this is good. I'll have to get the author to finish it. Listen everyone...."

And as they all turned toward her, she started to read, "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...."

The end.
