What this thread is for:
-to list nommed fics
-to list qualified fics
-a place for you to ask questions about the rules and awards process
-a reference thread to help you throughout the awards process
-pointing out mistakes in our nomming lists


What this thread is NOT for:
-celebrating your noms (while we are happy for you, this is not the place to throw a party--take it to PMs or IM)
-a place to discuss your personal noms since that is private information. If you have a question on whether or not a specific nom was counted, please discuss it with us via PM.

1) Register! If you have not registered, your noms and/or votes will not be counted. If you have not registered, just PM [b]Voter_Registration[/b] and say that you?re registering for the awards, and you?ll be good to go!

2) Go through and get ideas of whom you want to nominate.

3) Be sure to check whether the fics you are going to nominate are eligible for that particular award before sending us your noms.

Just a quick question....if we registered to vote in the awards last year, do we have to register again to vote this year?

 

No, you only have to register once.

 

Might want to put a note up in the Saga - I'd nearly forgotten that the noms start today!

 

Just to check: you can nom more than one fic in an area, right?

 

Yes you most certainly can. You're not limited to one category or anything. Just make sure you register if you haven't already before sending in the nominations.

 

The Master List has been updated. I'll update the qualifying list a bit later, after I've rested my eyes a little.

I'm wondering which character has been nominated for "Best Villain" for This Time Around. I'm pretty sure I can guess correctly, but you might want to fix that there.

The story, though, is called "Diving", not "Diving (H/L, AU, intertrilogy)"...

 

Fixed the aforementioned errors and updated both lists.

I got nominated this year?! I wasn't expecting that, so thank you to whoever did that.

And thanks to the volunteers for your work on this. Hate to do this, but there is a typo in Best Original Female Category. Right now it reads Alia Bennet-Kenobi. However her first name is spelled Aila. Just need to flip the "L" and the "I". Once again, thanks to the volunteers.

Though Tobias is flattered that he was mentioned as a best OC, Master Tobias McCal is very much male, as Koria can attest.

Thank you to whoever nominated Tender Shadows for most underrated, and for whomever nominated Master McCal (I'm assuming it was just an error that he was put in the female category) and Koria for best OC's.

 

I was just wondering if Koria actually qualified for best non-Human OC... she is half Human after all.

 

do you have to register separately for saga and for before?

 

No. You register one and you've registered for all eras for all time.
