Jammies surpasses all expectations for book club once again. Painting mini figs of the characters as a visual aid for the discussion. Once again going above and beyond. Excellent work sir.

I really do try to make every discussion unique: be it visual aids, in universe and out of universe context for the book, any continuity the reading may have with other works, as well as just notes for things to talk about.
Again, thank you. that was a sweet note-- especially as I was a little down on myself for not finishing painting EVERY character and for leaving Larone at home.

So what are we reading for the first Monday in October? How about some scary short stories featuring bounty hunters? Tales of the Bounty Hunters, edited by Kevin J Anderson.

Strange...I just noticed Kevin J Anderson will be having some panels at Cincinnati Comic Expo but I never saw him listed as a guest. Maybe I'm overlooking him. I'm still gonna take a copy of Tales of the Bounty Hunters for him to sign just in case.

I know this shouldn't be in our book club thread but everything is coming up Bounty Hunters! This weekend the Lexington Comic Con made guest announcements for next year and they include IG88, Bossk, Zuckass and 4LOM! No Fetts yet but I'll bet they bring at least one in.

Good meet. This close to Rogue One it was great to discuss all our hopes for the movie and how the book might tie in.

And, I am still enjoying the book and the world building that Lucino does. I do wish that we had a chapter on capes. I think some reviewer said that the book is "low on action, but will keep the Wookiepedians busy for weeks," and I agree and resemble that remark! i'm looking up sentient ruminant species right now.
