We're obviously still in the "things are going to get worse before they get better" stage. It has to be cancelled.

I was hoping the news would be on my local CBS station, they are showing the 2019 college basketball big 10 championship.

muffet mcgraw has stepped down as the head coach for the notre dame women, after 33 years - two ncaa championships, 2001 and 2018. her retirement follows the worst record of her career this year, 13-18 with no tournament bid.

she's a good coach and seems to be a good person.

Eddie Sutton passed away tonight, 84 y/o.

Won lots of games, had some well-publicized struggles, both professionally at UK and personally at Oklahoma St.

By most accounts, his players really loved him. RIP.

was a great coach, built that arizona program from dirt. unfortunate for him that his rise in the late 80s/early 90s paralleled better programs at duke, carolina, kansas, and kentucky.

he was in poor health when he retired, i thought - glad he made it another 10+ years, hopefully they were good ones. RIP

And by all accounts, a very nice respectful man who always had his student athletes best interests in mind. RIP coach!

mirrors the sentiment of iverson's HOF speech - was recruited by everyone in two sports, and they all gave up on him after the assault conviction from a bowling alley brawl. thompson did not, and molded him into the all-time great he became.

ewing, zo, dikembe, and iverson is quite a legacy, to go with a championship. also, 97% graduation rate for his players over 27 seasons.

he's resigned (via a fat ass settlement), hopefully never to see the light of day again. meaning he'll probably end up as an assistant on an nba bench somewhere in the next year or two before taking over another college program that just doesn't care.

LOL bye Greg Marshall you ****!

The only good thing about Wichita State leaving the MVC was not having him show up at Redbird Arena anymore....always knew he was horrible.

For real, every time WS played us I spent most of the game yelling at him to get off the court. I swear he tried to trip one of our players once.

Yep and imagine the entire month of March basically in Indy. Not exactly what you say a great getaway. Perhaps for the Final Four or something can they move to the Disney World complex and they get the royal treatment like the NBA guys got?

But literally the entire point is to NOT go out and enjoy what whatever the host city has to offer.

auburn's self-imposed a postseason ban for this year, essentially confirming rumors that the ncaa has something big on them.

bruce pearl, kelvin sampson, rick pitino, etc, etc. what do these ****ing moronic ADs and/or presidents think they're getting. people do not change. and they're all millionaires, while the kids these coaches use and abuse are left as footnotes.

former wofford, now virginia tech coach mike young adds another incredible win to his record, knocking off #3 nova today. beat michigan state around this time last year with vatech, too.

he's a genius, and once he gets a few recruiting classes in, that's going to be a sweet 16 program.

bill walton commentating remotely is somehow even more chaotic than bill walton commentating on-site.
