Can I like those posts twice
EDIT: Oh wait I can lol
Saban has COVID; miss Iron Bowl.
He is showing symptoms this time unlike the false positive Saban had the last time I will give him his due, he continues to say/do all the right things but Alabama still won't listen.
Several cases among the Buckeyes. Real chance unless they're false positives that Illinois gets banged. If they miss MSU too, Indiana would make the championship game, and with the Big Ten is requiring positive players to sit out 21 days-- that would end each of their regular seasons.
Maybe an outside shot at CFP if they could stay undefeated and beat Wisconsin as their +1, but then you're asking kids who have played a handful of games to jump into a playoff. The reality is nobody should be playing college football right now.
I hate 2020.
Big win for Notre Dame in a dangerous game. Texas loses a close one. They cannot seem to turn the corner.
In case anyone wasn't aware, the first ever woman to suit up for a Power Five game might kick off for Vandy to start the second half vs. Mizzou. Coming up soon on SEC network.
She did it! Mizzou fans cheered for her.
auburn beat lsu a few weeks ago 48-11. alabama's on their way to beating auburn by 48.
And that's with Saban out with COVID.
Michigan loses to Penn State. Ouch. Oregon loses to Oregon State. Double ouch. Undefeated Northwestern on the ropes against MSU.
RU over Purdue 37-30. Well-contested game. And while Rutgers has a 2-4 record this season, at least their losses have been losses, rather than slaughters, as has been the case in the previous couple of seasons.
Now they just have to beat Penn State next week.
Washington Huskies down 21-0 at halftime, almost 28-0, come back and win at Utah.
nick saban is going to make sure this one hurts. lsu looks woeful.
for my pal @Rew
i can joke, because tennessee is one of very few teams that are just as, if not more, **** than sc
I mean, Mizzou beat LSU this year. You had to know Alabama was gonna destroy them.
arizona state is playing their home opener now, with a current season record of 0-1. they have one game left after tonight, all other games have been canceled.
how in the world is the pac-12 going to figure out its title game, or bowl berths when they have teams playing a 3-game season.
Well, the only teams at less than 3 games so far are Arizona State, Utah, and Washington State, and they have a combined 1 win. I don't think it's unreasonable expecting most of the teams to have at least 4. Since we're doing this season anyway.
Interesting weekend. Notre Dame survives, BYU goes down, Washington falls behind big again and cannot come back. UCLA has a winning record and is improving. Oregon loses again. Texas is 6 and 3 now. Syracuse 1 and 10. What the heck happened to that program they were 10 and 2 two years ago.
re: syracuse - i think they're one of, if not the, youngest rosters in the power 5. there may be some assistant coach turnover, but i doubt babers goes - his pedigree is strong enough to weather one rebuilding season, especially one with as many distractions as this.
michigan/osu has been called off this year, due to UM infections.
ball's on the tee for whoever wants it.
B1G changing the rules in 3...2....
Fichigan cancelling before Wed means Ohio State will likely get a dif opponent.
Rumors of a Harbaugh extension though, so at least the streak can pick up next year...
The fact that Jim Harbaugh can be somehow be possibly rumored for a contract extension AND a return to the NFL as a HC truly is a paradox even for 2020. Erwin Schrodinger would be proud.
