He was a guest co-host on the Rachael Ray show after leaving 'Live' in recent years as well:
regis did over-the-top so well, self-deprecation. he also used way too much mayo on that sandwich.
I think this was one of the last things he had done and it aired back in April:
Before Kathy Lee he has a show on Lifetime which I enjoyed. Then he popped up on Live! he was a funny guy, very charismatic. I've had to explain to people his long running joke "Are you looking at me?" concerning meeting De Niro on a plane and the film Taxi Driver.
Wow I guess I didn't realize he was that old. RIP
My favorite video with Regis. Certainly a classic.
Rest In Peace, Regis (He always seemed like he was having fun).
Great answer, John (Not THAT John Carpenter).
Yeah, just heard about John Saxon. He did some wonderful and insane work in Italy.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Saxon.
(But please don't get me started on how he should have died in Enter the Dragon instead of Jim Kelly)
Probably what killed him, in a roundabout sort of way.
My condiments to his family and friends.
One of my favorite lines from an Oscars monologue was in 2000, as Billy Crystal quips ..."as ABC calls it, Regis' night off!"
Battle Beyond the Stars I'm pretty sure was my John Saxon intro.
Olivia de Havilland has passed away. Truly the end of an era.
I would have finally won my -4 points!
But RIP to her...
She had a good innings at 104..
The last of an age.
I’d have sworn both she and Kirk Douglas were immortal. Both finally gone this year. It’s just crazy how long both of them lasted; I think of all the films she made with Errol Flynn, who died sixty-one years ago. A symbol of a distant age somehow still around long after every other contemporary (except Douglas!) was gone. And it’s not like Golden Age Hollywood actors were well known for their long lifespans — so many died relatively early that it makes it even more remarkable.
Vera Lynn was around the same age as well when she passed..
Rest in Peace, Olivia (Maid Marian)
just watched The Adventures of Don Juan. Strange to see a Flynn movie without Olivia !
Her and Flynn's version of Robin Hood is a favorite of mine..
She is one of two actresses that I said I expected would die in the coming months in like, March or April. I am gonna feel a bit bad if the other one also happens.
What finally did Olivia de Havilland in was HBO Max relenting to PC culture and putting a disclaimer in front of GWTW.
