Carb, IL 30th BIRTHDAY BASH at Superman Days June 9-10 in Metropolis!

Join us at the Amerihost Theater in Metropolis down the streeet from Harrah's casino for a Birthday party for Star Wars - complete with activities for kids - dueling, gaming and birthday cake!

Okay - ONE WEEK TO GO!

We have fanforce members coming from St. Louis, Indiana, IL and other parts of the midwest - and we have to show them a good time!

We need help with a potluck lunch we will provide all fanforce guests - so if you have a favorite dish or speciality you can make - PLEASE bring it on Saturday.

We also want to have a bake sale to raise funds for Martha's Vineyard. So any cookies, brownies or cake you can make, buy or bring - please do so.

At the event -

We have a Kids Jedi Academy where they will make masks, lightsabers and so on, and then be 'trained' by our Jedi Masters before combating our Sithlords and winning a prize.

We are still looking for a way to by some of the Star Wars Nerf Guns.

Most importantly, we are hoping all of us can contribute a few $$ to go for a grand raffle prize. The money raised for the raffle will go towards our charity. Please PM me or rodan70 if you can contribute.

Saturday evening there is the carnival at Superman Days for those of us who might want to accompany our guests from out of town.

The event begins at 9AM this coming Saturday. and again at 10 AM on Sunday. Come in costume, or just come - we will have fun.

There will also be a showing of Superman II and Episdoe IV Sunday night at the same facility. The cost is $2 per person, half goes to Martha's Vineyard and the other half goes to pay for the hall.
