To make the wait more tolerable, we'll have to pretend we're sitting in a very... long... line. Waiting for the doors to open. [face_laugh]

There's probably someone sitting in a chaise louge outside of the LACC as we speak. Wanting to be "first" in line.

I'd be there but they would only give me 10 months off work, not the full 12 1/2 i had asked for!

I can pick you up some Krispy Kremes for you JayTee.. there's one on my way in to Downtown from home. They don't have those in Hawai'i yet do they?

Looking forward to seeing you again, although I didn't know who you were at CIII except that you're the only person who took my picture there.

There's a lot to do in 350 days..

    Look!

Krispy Kremes are of the Dark Side - I have to hunt them out every time I go to Georgetown for supplies....

Okay, for the record KK's are the best donuts EVER[face_love] ! If you ever go by one and the red light is on for God's sake stop and go inside! They will hand you a free one hot off of the conveyor. It's as close to heaven as you can get!

    Matt / JediRacer,

Cool! Actually, we DO have Krispy Kreme here in the State of Hawai'i but only on the island of Mau'i. I work for t.v. news (on O'ahu) so whenever we have reporters hopping over to Mau'i for a story, the running joke is "Bring us back some Krispy Kremes".

However, I was thinking more along the lines of Stan's Doughnuts in Westwood. It may be a drive from the L.A.C.C.. However, Stan seemed to be really nice to the Star Wars fans that waited in line for "The Phantom Menace" back in 1999. [I wasn't there (lived in Japan at the time) but I saw the DVD "Starwoids" (which I HIGHLY recommend for Star Wars fans) and they featured Stan in it.] Hmmmm....watching Starwoids is a great way to pass the time in line...........

Krispy Kremes are great (if you don't mind all the calories & sugar). I must confess. I like them better than my long old-time favorite, Dunkin' Donuts' glazed numbers. All that is indulgence, though. We must take it, if at all, in moderation.

I'm off to Stan's, though, since he is so great to us fans. Anybody want in?!

P.S. Maybe I'll grab some Cinnabons while I'm at it. So much for being fat-free! And, Jedi Racer, OF COURSE I'd take your picture! We Rebels gotta stick together! Mon Mothma says REBEL!!!!!!!!!!!

Krispy Kremes are good, but they aren't filling (it's like eating air), and they're expensive because of it.

I already have my vacation request filled out for time off to go to C4 and will turn it in after the first of the year. :D

I'm in the accounting field and that weekend is End-of-month, so my co-workers are messing with me by saying I can't go. HA! That's what they think. [face_laugh]
