Wow, nice, cool lightning! I think the sun/light in the left hand corner is a bit too shiny. Other than that, cool!
Did you rig the stormy yourself, or was it already rigged?

Edit: nice lighting too.

 

Yeah, nice lighting. The animation was pretty cool, only it looked a little jumpy as it looks back round. Appart from that good work.

PS. What's with the cross?

 

I completely agree with Dave. Love the animation, looks natural. Love the lighting and textures. Let us know some of the processes you used. An animation is only as good as it's summary...just kidding. Like to see more.

Looks very nice---I'm amsuming that there is more going on in the video--the context of the video might help in making an opinion of the animation. BTW--How did you get the glow coming off of his armor?

I don't get it, when I was in california, my english was SO much better when I was wasted (about three nights a week). And I wasn't the only one to think so, everybody agried to say that I was way more fluent after a few pintes. Since I've been back to france, almost six months, I haven't had any booze, at all, not a shot or a beer, nothing. And it seems like I've quited chicks too at the same time. life's so boring.

Anyway, your compositing isn't bad but the motion sucks. Sorry

 

I think by explaination/explanation? they meant, as do I, what is the meaning behind this? What is it? Not.. this is lightning, this is clouds, etc. We got that. What is this for, what's it supposed to be for, etc. I have to agree with Dr.Jones... although not bad the trooper isn't moving extremely realistic either. What was this... a mood piece... a symbolic piece?? Just supposed to be like here's the Empire... lightning, ties flying by, etc. Like the old "Join the Empire" animation?

Other thing I wanted to ask... did Ian and Mista help you out recently on this OR they just rigged it long time ago?? I haven't heard from either of those guys in years.

 

all of it looks good, but the only thing I didn't like was how his neck snapped back perfectly with the torso movement when it should be slightly deviated from the torso... other than BB, as with all your stuff, it's top-notch...

Bert>> Oué je suis revenu, depuis six mois en fait, mais j'ai qu'une envie c'est de repartir, ce qui risque d'arriver bientôt, dès que j'ai mon diplôme d'ingé. Et oui, j'ai presque fini mes études. Sinon niveau 3d, pas grand chose de nouveau depuis la tortue ninja. En ce moment, j'essaye d'apprendre Zbrush, Maya, Flash et Silo. Ca fait un peut beaucoup à la fois, surtout que je suis aussi en train de refaire completement on site, et une toute nouvelle demo.
