People could have crashed on the Island before the Oceanic Flight 815. The Black Rock has been there for over 100 years. Maybe even close to 200. Hell, maybe even longer than that. I'm sure many, many boats and planes could have crashed in that time.

Last night's Lost was the best television I've seen for a long time (well, since BSG on Tuseday :p ). That was just so awesome, all of it. Work today was buzzing with people's rumours of whats in the hatch. I cannot wait until the Spring.

And hearing Jin talking English on the trailer just really freaked me out, it was very disconcerting.

Wow that episode 10 of season 2 was great, anyone who is following the US line of episodes can see a preview of episode 11 [link=http://lost-media.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=431]here.[/link]

    Spoilers...

[hl=black]I love how the monster is 'smoke and mirrors' how when the camera passed through the smoke it was able to see into eko's past. Whats everyone elses opinion on why it didnt attack eko, was it because he wasnt afraid of it?[/hl]

Is series 2 the same number of episodes as series 1?

Ah, what a season. My general reaction after it was "guuuuh, ffffftttttzzzz, whaaaaaaa?????"

Charlie is back on the Junkie Side, Arstz is no more, the hatch is open and Walt has been taken by the others and Sawyer and co are in trouble.

And so, to mark this momentous occasion, I present to you all.......LOST RHAPSODY!!!!!

We don't actually know that. The statue was still intact, so...

didn't that scene end with charlie looking at the broken statue on the floor with the smack, and then cut to them running through the forest again though? in that case, we don't know what he took.

    I don't think he'd have time to:
    open the bags
    get out the heroin
    take it
    catch up with Sayid

Especially as Sayid was in a hurry. Also, Charlie was focused on getting Turnip head back. I don't think he'd risk zoning out. He was pretty intent.

he certainly had time to take the statue though, so who knows what he grabbed? he could have just grabbed the smack from in the broken statue. now he knows there is a supply he can easily go back to the crashed plane for more.

or are you using your season 2 knowledge to quietly say something?

    hmmmm...... [face_thinking]

I just don't think it's possible for him to have a fix and catch up with Sayid ready fo rthe next scene.

I've just started watching 'Lost' - 'obtained' season 1 from somewhere....O:)

It's bloody brilliant! At first I didn't think a show about a bunch of plane crash survivors would be very plausible...

....I shoulda kept my faith in multi-million dollar US TV studios! :p

Should hit the finale by this time next week - can't wait

    a couple of questions:

was it ever established how locke became disabled (in season 1)?

when hurley did his marathon across the airport, he initially had two suitcases, but boarded with only one. did i miss something?

    3 questions then :p

again when hurley was at the airport, he joined the queue to board and was told to get to the back of the queue, why then did he mission it across the airport, borrowing that old dudes scooter in the process?

I think you'll find those are continuity errors
You should be used to them, Star Wars has loads :p

As for the Locke thing, I dont think it was ever established how he got paralysed, if he actually ever did, it could all have been in his head. Since Locke is a man of faith perhaps another test was believing he could actually walk again.

I thought he'd get paralyzed as a result of the operation, but it seems he did not

But if they gave away everything in the first series there'd be nothing left for series 2, so I suppose they'll reveal it then.

    1. Nope it wasnt established how locke became disabled, I'm surprised everyone asks this question. It is more common for someone to become disabled than for someone to regain the ability to walk. Everyone should be asking how he is now able to walk?

    2. Usualy when you go on a flight you take 2 bags, hold luggage and hand luggage. Your hand luggage you take on the plane with you but your hold luggage gets stored in the hold of the plane.

    3. Again this is something you'd understand if you go through airports more than once. :p He was told to get to the back of the queue at the metal detector, these usualy come before the departure lounge. If he was in a large airport then he would still have a long way to go to get to the correct terminal. If you notice he stopped the guy right infront of the screens which say what terminal different flights are at, in lost the oceanic flight was leaving from terminal 23. ;)
