SWC17 40th Anniversary Panel - Thursday 4/13

11-12:30 on the Galaxy stage.

 

My wife is gonna do the overnight camp out now. So anyone want to rent my room for the night lol.

 

Per Celebration's FB page - the 40th Panel will feature Hamil, Christensen, Mayhew, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, Warwick Davis, and Kathleen Kennedy.

 

I can't believe I get to see Hayden two days in a row. I hope he sits next to Ian.

I'm still shaking. Also expecting demand for the 40th to go up cause people like seeing Ian at Panels

 

There's also rumors flying that Ewan will be a surprise there to announce the film.

I had the same thought about demand. Ugh....may have to try camping for this one afterall instead of getting there at 5.

 

Hayden coming to Celebration is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

 

The email I just got says "+ other surprise guests".

 

I'll try to keep a steady update by the hour or when crowds really come in before they shut the door so if it looks like it's cutting it real close you may be able to head out there around 11pm or so.

 

Yeah...that'd be about the time I'd get there realistically. I have dinner reservations at 8:45pm so it would be pushing it to get back to the hotel and back again. I guess the other solution would be to eat somewhere different.

 

Moved up dinner reservations to 4:50pm. Camp out it is.

 

I changed my reservation for this so glad I did.

So yeah, stock in that 40th Anniversary Panel stock just went way up.

 

I'd be willing to bet at least one of Ewan, Ford and Lucas is there.

 

Wow, lots of great news coming out today. This is definitely going to make a lot more people want to line up.

 

Almost makes you wonder if the Thursday ticket sales weren't were they wanted it.

 

Jeez, do you think there is any chance of getting a wristband for a streaming room for the 40th if I get there at 5am? I cannot miss this!

When I was at celebration anaheim, I got in line for the big TFA panel at 9am, because I didn't want to wait more than 2 hours. I was about 15 people away from getting into the main room with the actors.

 

Keep in mind, the main stage in Anaheim held a lot more people.

 

Thinking of camping out for both nights.... Is that crazy? It's my first Celebration!

 

You won't be the only one. It'll be tiring, but you'll get by on adrenaline.

 

I'm doing it both nights. First time doing it even if it's my 4th Celebration but hey, it will be an experience to remember
