    BEBE!

This is a perfect movie for Harriet Sansom Harris. Reminds me of this classic clip:

^ Bebe was one of the funniest characters on Frasier, and that's a high bar to clear.

Speaking as someone that's been pretty burnt out on MCU/Superhero stuff as of late, I honestly really dig the look of this. Can't wait.

I'm surprised there weren't more buzz about it . Seems not many people noticed him , but exactly at one minute and five seconds he appears in the trailer.

    This guy:

Also, shown proeminently in the trailer is Elsa Bloodstone, played by Laura Donnelly.

The look/feel of this is right up my alley. The vibe is so much fun: ‘30s Universal monsters meets ‘70s bad grindhouse horror.

Yes, I saw Man-Thing, very cool.

    Bebe indeed.

I love that they’re winking at The Beast Within so hard.

    Two questions:

    Is that Blade?
    And TVA enforcers?

Promo art from some upcoming Disney Parks thing, featuring another look at both Werewolf By Night and Man-Thing:

They definitely seem to be leaning heavy into a Lon Chaney Jr.-looking werewolf here, which absolutely rocks.

Aye, what a cool blending of styles of horror. Right up my alley as well.

I have no idea who that guy is, but it definitely isn't Mahershala Ali, so not Blade.

Also, to note, the "guards" in the trailer look a lot like the TVA hunters ( like agent B15) wich is very ackward.
    Judge for yourself:

They aren’t TVA agents. Those are shock rods which you can see them using against Werewolf by Night. Their armor is different too.

Yeah, I very much doubt those are TVA agents. This might eventually help pave the path for a Midnight Sons teamup of sorts, but I don't really expect this Special itself to actually worry all that much about pulling in a bunch of references/nods to pre-established MCU stuff. Based on the characters it is highlighting in the trailer, and the seemingly isolated location it's set in (Bloodstone Castle), I can't imagine there'd be a ton of room for MCU-specific Easter Eggs. Easter Eggs riffing on Marvel's horror comic history, on the other hand...

Also, since I don't think it's been posted, the official Disney+ synopsis for this is as follows:

I know Elsa Bloodstone from one of my favourite comics, Nextwave. Would love if they went with her surly attitude and monster shotgunning. Anyway, looks great, Grindhouse fake trailers vibe but horror in the MCU should be sweet (as nobody watched and got turfed from the MCU with Helstrom).

Thank you, I wasn’t sure; but thought that could be a fun triple whammy if it was Mahershala (Blade, Werewolf, Man-Thing).

    Anyway, looks great.

    Ok, but mind 2 things:

1 - Then , why rods and not guns with silver bullets then ? It's a werewolf we're talking about!
And rods ( pruning rods) weren't the wepons of the TVA ?
The least we can say is that whoever edited this trailer wanted to cause confusion.

2 - The most important one: do you remember what is the job Man-Thing has in the Marvel comics ?
Don't ? Read the spoiler about:
He is the keeper of the Nexus of Realities !
    From the Wikipedia itself:
Under writer Steve Gerber, the Man-Thing encounters the sorceress Jennifer Kale, with whom he briefly shared a psychic link and who knew his true identity, in a story arc in Fear #11-13 – the final issue of which established that the swamp had mystical properties as the Nexus of Realities. Through an interdimensional portal in Fear #19, he meets Howard the Duck, who becomes stranded in this reality. The Man-Thing became the guardian of the Nexus, and found himself facing demons, ghosts and time-traveling warriors, while continuing to encounter such non-supernatural antagonists as rapacious land developers, fascist vigilantes and common criminals.

So how this works: in the Marvel time-space reality all the Nexus event that creates a breach in the sacred timeline are overlapped in the same point in the space.
And this place where every Nexus intersect each other, creating a huge portal of breaches in the sacred timeline, lies in the swamp the Man-Thing lives. And that's why he guards the place, to avoid/prevent incursions.

Are you still sure the TVA wouldn't be interested in all of this ;)?

Damn that was fun. I’m howling at the moon here. Creepy. Funny. Gross.

directed by music composer Michael Giannccino.

I forget how equally good the other Y Ti Mama Tambien actor is.

A great trick or treat from Marvel. Loved when it goes into color. Also like the wolfman look and style for the werewolf. The hour run time is perfect for what this is.

Claws crossed we get more like this from Marvel. Werewolf, Man Thing, Hunter could make a brilliant team.

Won't be seeing this until this evening, but I'm definitely looking forward to it! Going to do it as a double feature with the new Hellraiser... just deciding which one I want to play first. [face_laugh]
