I mean, isn't that the majority of James Bond posters? Not much different than the ones for Skyfall and Spectre: James Bond in a tux holding a PPK.

It seems like a worse version of the Goldeneye advance poster...

Wow. That's some poster. It's boring but maybe it's brilliant. It's reading the room and the tone of the times.

The posters in March (while still kind of boring) were saying - a new sort of Bond Adventure. He's in tactical clothes, this movie will have the sort of fresh Bond action you don't wear cufflinks for. The background was gritty. This was going to go places we haven't seen with Bond. And the movie was being released before Tenet.

Six months of living in an uncertain world - the most straight forward approach to selling this movie makes a lot of sense. People want something that is familiar. Something that's known to be popular before. We've seen next to no major movies released for six months.

This is a James Bond movie. Make it known. Sell it as a James Bond movie using the most straightforward and direct approach. Get back to basics. Bond in a Tuxedo, with a gun, and wrist watch clearly visible. Black and white background made out of the Bond logo. Movie title and release date.

It even seems a bit slap dash in how it's put together, how blurry the cut out of Craig is in places. But it's direct. Maybe it will tempt some people to risk going into a movie theater.

A teaser for tomorrow's trailer... it does contain some new footage.

Good trailer but I think it'd be a hard task to make a bad trailer for a Bond film. That scene in Italy looks awesome.

Looks fun, a lot better looking than Spectre for sure. Will be nice to see Ana de Armas kick some ass.

Ana de Armas lights up pretty much any movie she's in...

I'm confused, I thought the film was delayed til November of 2021 but the trailer suggests it's coming out this November

Nope. It was only ever delayed until November of this year.

It does look good. Spectre also looked good in trailers.

A new trailer now must mean it's coming out for sure in November. No more delays. Unfortunate this Bond film will probably loose a huge amount of money because of the time it comes out.

Movies are made mostly on borrowed money. Even if the production company has the funds to pay for the movie outright, it's more safe to use financing. I think part of that also means when a film is delayed it costs the production company money because of the financing. Will be interesting to see what if any effect the current pandemic will have on mega budget films going forward.

I wonder if her character will have a similar reaction to lying like she did in the last movie she co-starred in with Daniel Craig. :p

Thank goodness for the bridge architecture and that random fallen tree in the woods otherwise Bond would have been run over not once but twice and the movie would have been over.

It's a good trailer. I hope the film lives up to it.

I do like the Ken Adams inspired bad-guy set - ver nostalgic.

Well, it probably can't be worse than Spectre.

It’s funny because he was the runner-up to Craig last time.

But if you look at those lists the AI is clearly garbage.

The AI also said that the top two “best ever Bonds” were Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. So... yeah.

Was the A.I. Skynet? Instead of sending yet another Terminator back in time, did it just settle on making our heads explode through sheer delusional conceit?

    My order:

    1. Craig
    2. Early Connery (DN through Thunderball)
    3. Dalton
    4. Lazenby
    5. Brosnan (not his fault, just bad movies)
    6. Moore
    7. Late Connery

So an entertainment website is reporting a certain actor has been cast as the next 007. Yes it's all based on rumors and could easily be a bogus report, but just in case you're interested, read on.

No way they've cast anybody as Bond yet.
