Sth Bend, IN ___STAR WARS in concert___

There is just too much Star Wars stuff happening for me to keep up with.

anyway,

Just saw what I will call_______The making of, STAR WARS in concert, on Channel 11, WTTW here in Chicago,
on Saturday, at 10:30 pm

and now also know, that what started on in Britian, and then had dates mostly in California,
will now be touring the country.

As you may already know, I was just at a similiar kind of concert in Cincy, Ohio,
(hope to post more on that soon)

But, this is the big one, with the the 100 foot traveling digital screen, Orchestra and Chorus,
also with Anthony Daniels.

I think tickket master is already selling tickets.

It will be at the United Center here in Chicago (where the Bulls play I think)

and expect tickets to be pricey.

1 day concert on Sunday December 6,

am pretty sure, that this will be a very difficult event to troop, kinda like the Rose Parade,
but........Jamie are you out there.

You might want to try for it anyway. Midwest garrison boards already have info on this.

Expect to have to audition your armor with photo-s to get approved for before, at intermission, and after trooping.

MT, thanks for this news because starwarsinconcert.com needs to update their locations list - the Chicago date is not even listed!

I will have to wait for something closer (Omaha, Minneapolis) if I want to troop, though.

 

Try checking ticket master, as this is how this was first discovered in
the Chicago area.

I am actually kinda late with this info, as compared to the
midwest garrison boards.

I only stumbled accross it because my TIVO is set to
record all things Star Wars,

and when in the middle of that show they just happened to mention
a Chicago performance, I just about fell out of my chair

check out jam productions, or visit the Chicago boards and look for a link there,

The Saint Louis boards, already have a date for a performance,

it seems that PBS stations TV or Radio stations may have info on your area,
as tickets are being donated to these stations and their
fund raising drives.

 

This is one of my favorite movies, I went to the cinema to see each of them without rest, besides my collection in my house, this reminds me when I went to see The Phantom Menace with my girlfriend

To bring this back on Topic, I think I'll be going to this with the 501st down in Indy as a handler type, so I'm actually kinda looking forward to that.. We'll see though, I mentioned it to my manager, and she bout went crazy..

Okay, so I went last night, but not as a handler, just took my sister as her birthday present. It was a lot of fun, and even though we were in the balcony (first row at least) we could see pretty well, and I think she got some decent pictures. It was definitely a little bit or a madhouse. Went out with the 501st folks afterwards, which is always fun, but driving home to SB last night.. not so much. I am STILL sleepy! But it was so worth getting home at 3am for the good times!

 

Yes, that is one difficult to stay awake drive!

Here in Chicago, we had a visit from Mr. GL himself.
