A bit early, but still: Croatia as a FFE meeting 2006

Well, I see you allready have olans for the 2005 meeting, so i would be free to sugest Croatia as a possible place for a 2005 meeting. I would love to see as many people as possible here, and i think that with the help of MOSCROATIA (Croatian Fan association, visit www.moscroatia.com9 it could be a nice place...

So, what do you say?

Want to come to Zagreb, early August 2006?

Always wanted to visit Croatia. I can't tell how my situation will be next year, but it would be nice to go there.

i've just came back from croatia 2 days ago and i recommend this country as much as possible.

zagreb is ok and everything, but such meeting should definately take place at the seaside - split or makarska, you know.

 

@Cobra; it would be no trouble organising that. The main thing, however is where to have the meeting. I suggest 'Zagreb Fair' for it hosted many different conventions, I think it would be the perfect place.

But a Meet isn't a convention, Amon. It's just that, a Meet. Where fans get together. We don't have to all gather in one big hall, thats for sure.

But it'd be cool to spend 2 or 3 days in Zagreb, looking at stuff, and all that lark, as people normally do when visiting old cities.

Then maybe a day on the coast, on the beach in the scorching temperatures, a day in the mountains, Satan's Pass or whatever it's called.

Maybe a day in Rural Croatia, see all of the scenery out of the cities.

Or something like that.

 

I, like Amart, thought that it would be something like a convention. We will need a large space though. This trips you're proposing sounds great, Cobranaconda. Satan's Pass is Vra?ji prolaz, isn't it. Brilliant place. Have you been there?

 

No, Amon was showing me pictures of it. But meets tend not to be Conventions. You can have a meet at a convention, but a convention isn't a meet, if you catch my drift.

Its not just one day. You pretty much get together as a group and do stuff!

So anywhere.

 

It would be nice to visit Rijeka and Opatija then. Opatija is one of the fairest places in Croatia. It is enchanting. Amon's city, Pula is also very nice; about 3000 years old. Zadar, on the coast as well, is not bad either.

Where is Vra?ji prolaz? I've never heard of it.
And what is 'Rojk'?

 

Vra?ji prolaz is in Gorski Kotar.

 

Rojc, I think it's meant to be. I don't know, a place for Underground Metal Acts, I think

Yes, Opatija is enchanting. But I doubt any of its 'enchantements' will be inspiration for a metal band.
