A Christmassy Meetup?

We need to meet up and have a drink (or six!) whilst having a good natter!

I was thinking of us all meeting up (bring a friend!) in the Christmassy period, as it's easier to organise then, and I ought to have a free railcard, and not be engrossed in University things such as work, clubs and clothes!

Is anyone else up for this?

Any ideas are also greatly welcomed!

Cardiff/Swansea- both accessible via public transport fairly easily!

I'm having a look online constantly for comic conventions that we could meet up at, but so far, the jewel isn't the bag...

 

Well, I've ruled out Cinema and such, so I guess everyone here is over 18... A few drinks in Cardiff together ought to be promising to begin with, get to know each other and all! And then, we progress from there!

 

Sounds good to me, Cardiff is good cause my sis goes to uni there so whenever there's a meet I can crash at hers.

On saying that, I'm a girl, so putting on a cardie will hide any embarassment from lookers by in the pub!

All we need now, is to decide on a date. I'll try and see what my Uni "off-days" are, and get back to you all!

It's always good. Nice to have inter-chapter meets anyway. CE was great just for meeting everyone from around the region (except for you Welshies)

 

Maybe they want to remain secretive and not let us Southies crash their meet though

and rhi u cant beat me at sticking out like a sore thumb at a meet im afraid! the first midlands meet i went to i didnt know what the others looked like and we were goin to see episode 3 so i wore fully jedi costume into Star City in birmingham lol - it worked cus mark spotted me lol

Well, I go to University October 6th (which is really late...) so I ought to have my timetable by then to tell you, if that's alright. I'll have to book a train too, so don't worry on that front!

From the looks of the thread its going to be Cardiff.

 

Count me in if it's in Cardiff and if the trains still run at sensible times in the December timetable

 

if u make it at a weekend while unis are still there then that wud make it easier - can stay with peeps in cardiff or swansea

Meal, then drink? We'll see what sort of numbers we have, and then go for an Indian/Chinese/Insert Food here.

It's definitely Cardiff I think, and you're welcome to bring friends/relatives/spouses, but I'm guessing legal drinking age will have to be applied here, if you're thinking of coming for a drink!

 

100% will have to be. Though since most of you are 18+ there shouldn't be a problem.
