Title: "A Pondering Princess"- The Diary of Leia
Characters: Leia with reference to Han and Luke and most of the rest of the SW gang.
Timeframe: Between New Hope and Empire

Author's note: This is for the Dear Diary 08 Challenge. I don't own any of these characters and I apologize to them
in advance for what I am about to do... I own none of this and it's all the fault of Splinter of the Minds Eye and
whoever wrote that book that this happened at all. I don't own any of these characters and am glad that George doesn't
sue us for playing in his sandbox.
It's going to be an interesting year.

Dear Diary,
I hate to say that my last diary is now gone, destroyed when that animal Vader destroyed Alederaan...Thankfully I learn of new survivors every day. I'm just glad that I can find things to take my mind off of the losses suffered in that tragedy...

And it is just as well that I start a new diary since my male tastes have changed. Prince Nicholas of Circapicous IV is no longer an interest of mine. Neither is Jacob the gardener, Henre' the personal trainer to the Senate on Coruscant or Barnabus of Serenno... OK. They might be well mannered and polite. They have positions of great power, well except for Jacob and Henre'...they were just downright gorgeous...

Anyway, on to the point. I have two new men in my life. The Smuggler and The Farmboy. I don't know what it is about them...Maybe it's becasue they saved my life...maybe it's because they saved the Rebellion...Maybe it's because they are both exciting and it's been a long time since I found anyone exciting...

The Smuggler...he's dark, dangerous, exciting...The kind of man my father warned me about. But, I can't ignore the fact that he came with General Kenobi to rescue me...I know it was partly for the reward, but there is more to him than money...He's handsome in a roughish sort of way and I feel like he's attracted to me as well.

I just don't know if I could have a future with a man like that. He has decided to join the Rebellion which is great because we need more men like him. He's an amazing pilot... He helped Luke destory the Death Star. Without Han, none of us would be here right now.

He travels with a Wookie. He said something about a life-debt. I wonder if that applies to girlfriends.

Then there is the farmboy. He has that youthful charm typical of those uneducated farm-types from out-lying planets like Tatooine. Oh well, I guess there's so much going on in the Empire right now that nobody is concerned aobut our education system...

Anyway, when I'm with Luke...there is this amazing feeling. It's like I know him...like I've known him all my life. He's not as cute as the Smuggler, but cuteness isn't everything. I've never met a more honest soul. I can't understand the connection I feel with him. Maybe it's that feeling of "True Love" I've heard described.

You know, how when you meet that one person that you are destined to be with...how you just know...

I can't tell and I'm honestly too busy to be flirting with this sort of thougth. But a Princess can't be expected to live her entire life alone.

I'll just have to see what happens.

I'm going to be travelling to our next base of operations with the Smuggler while the Farmboy follows us in an X-wing.

It should be an adventure if nothing else. I just have to decide which one I think is the "one"... if such a man even exists

 

Please PM me when you update! I want to see how she arrives at her decision, you know...BEFORE she finds out that Luke is her TWIN!

Day 2
Aboard the Millenium Falcon in route to Hapes to pick up supplies and possibly more supporters for the Rebellion.

Dear Diary,

Well, I can say one thing for the Smuggler... He's not neat. I mean, there was dirty underwear on the floor of the fresher' this morning. How can one man be so messy.

And there is hair everywhere. Who knew Wookies shed so much? Everytime I get up from a chair I look like I need to shave my butt...Brown Wookie hair and my wardrobe don't mix.

Did I mention that I haven't been able to sleep on the night cycle because of the snoring? That and the fact that everytime I shut my eyes some alarm on this bucket of bolts goes off and I wonder if I shouldn't have squeezed into the X-Wing with the Farmboy...

However, I must admit that I was taken aback at how roughishly handsome the Smuggler looked coming out of the fresher' in just a towel. Too bad he didn't drop it or something.(What a girl wouldn't give for a little bit of that "Force" power sometimes)

I kind of miss talking to the farmboy but it's ok. I'll be seeing plenty of him soon as we are about to arrive on Hapes and then there is a banquet in our honor. We've become quite famous it seems. Since destroying the Death Star more and more planets and people are interested in helping us defeat Palpatine.

I made a promise long ago to my father that I would fight to restore Peace to the galaxy until my dying day. His committment already cost him his life and I am not afraid. I mean, I stood up to Darth Vader. Why the Kriff would I be afraid of a wrinkly old geezer who has to be surrounded constantly by guards?

Anyway, I'm going to go try and get some sleep before we come out of hyperspace. I'll be glad when we get there. I really need to get my hair done...

 

Funny stuff!! LOL at how messy Han keeps the Falcon- that surprises me because he thinks so highly of it. You'd think he'd keep it nicer.

 

Hee!!!! Leia's a hoot!! I like naughty! Leia!!

Day 3:

Still on board the Falcon...she's having "tehnical difficulties)...(near the Imperial held Wayland)...with Luke's X-Wing docked to the Falcon so he could come on board and help with the repairs.

Dear Diary,

I don't think the "bucket of bolts" is going to get my where I need to go. However, I am amazed that the Sumggler and his Wookie friend are able to make repairs on it so easily. For a little bit there, I thought he was stalling, you know, just so he could have more time with me...

Anyway, he and Luke were trying to fix the hyperdrive...(I don't see why he just doesn't get a new one)...So, I decided to take the opportunity to get a sonic shower. So, I get in the shower and have my hair all lathered up when...oops...I hear one of them call and the power to the whole ship cuts off...

That left me in a bit of a situation. Dripping wet, my hair full of shampoo...They got the power back on but I had to rinse off in COLD water. Anyway, I go digging around in the fresher' and can't find but one towel. Well, my hair takes more than one towel.

So I called out to the Smuggler and asked him for another towel. He told me to check around in the drawers in his quarters. I wish I spoke Wookie because his partner said something at that point that he just ignored...too busy working on his ship...Men have such egos about their ships...I know what Winter always said...they're just compensating...I don't think thats the case with the Smuggler...He seems very well endowed.

So...I go into his quarters...crawl around all the crates of spare parts...finally found the drawers. Imaging my suprise when I find, while looking for a towel...a pair of racy red lace women's underwear. It took me few moments to get my temper under control. I mean, it's not like I'm his girlfriend or anything...

So I decide to see how he handles the situation. I wrap one towel around my hair. Tighten up the one that is around me and go wandering through the ship looking for the boys.

Who knew the farmboy could blush that much. I stood in the doorway and made a loud coughing sound...The Farmboy looked up and I didn't know somebody could turn that red that fast. Also, I think you could have parked a landspeeder in his throat, his mouth was gaped open so far...

Then he saw the undergarment I had held up to myself...I smiled at him and told him that I didn't think he was the type...

The Wookie roared (I think it was laughter)...The Smuggler stammered around..."Those aren't mine"..."I don't know where those came from"..."How did those get in there"..."Nice Underwear"....I was hilarious watching him try to find an excuse...

I was all coy...I told him it didn't matter me what kind of underwear he wore. The Smuggler turned red, but not in the same way as the farmboy...

So I decided to really get them going...I went over to the Farmboy...took one finger and closed his jaw...Asked him if I had
ever thanked him personally for saving my life and bent down, kissed him on the cheek then sauntered out of the room to get dressed.

All I could hear as I walked away was the Wookie growling something...and the Smuggler telling him to "Laugh it us Fuzzball"...

At least I'm not bored.

This is very funny. Loved that she was worried about her hair in the last update and this one with Luke being so shy and embarrassed. Very cute.

Day 4:

Well Hapes was a hoot... See, they are a society dominated by women...strong women. And men, well they are sort of what you might want to call "eye candy". And aparently all men who come on planet to meet with the Queen are expected to dress in the uniform of a Hapan male.

You should have heard the commotion coming from the little room the Smuggler and the Farmboy were taken to. I could hear the Smuggler ranting..."That's not clothes...that's not even dental floss..." I just sat back in the comfortable chair that was brought to me and watied for the show.

Well, when my two dashing heroes came out of that room...Lets just say that you could tell which one was from a desert planet and which one spent all his time on a ship. The Farmboy was at least tan and I must add did not look bad at all in his little Hapan thong...

The Smuggler, aside from the fact that a blast shield wouldn't help you from being blinded by the whiteness of his legs was very well built for someone who spent so much time trying no to do any work. And I have to admit that I'm a sucker for a man with a little hair on his chest.

So, they join me... I try not to laugh in their face. The Farmboy was blushing so badly it looked like he had a sunburn, well everywhere... They took their places at my side and we went to see the Queen.

When we got to the Queen's chambers, they were instructed to serve as my escorts... Needless to say, I had quite the show and it was a very long walk down a red carpet to the throne where the Queen sat on her throne.

She was an interesting woman...I'm not sure I trust her, but she gave us money and supplies and even offered me a new pair of Hapan male servants... I declined the offer, much to the relief of my two boys...

I'm satisified with the two men I have in my life. I feel completely safe in their care...

As we were preparing to leave and the Smuggler and the Farmboy were changing back into their regular clothes... The Queen brought me a personal gift...Several gowns and other garments that she informed me were more appropriate for a Princess...She also offered to buy the Smuggler from me...Aparently "pale" tickled her fancy...

I declined the offer and as I borded the ship, I found Chewie laughing (I think) his head off... He had captured our companions while they were in the hanger in their Hapan outfits... I think that I have the proper leverage if they ever catch me doing anything embarassing...

 

Very funny update and very .... easy to picture the reactions to Leia's two "escorts". Her voice is so witty and ... she doesn't hesitate to say what she likes LOL Yuppers, HSP, I definitely had an image of Han and Luke in a thong!!!!!

Day 5:

We decided to stay on Hapes another day. The Queen invited all of us to dinner but, the boys declined the offer.

Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing them dressed up "Hapan-style" again... But, you should have seen the looks on their faces when I left in the dress the Queen gave me...

Lets just say that "revealing" doesn't quite cover it. Normally I would never wear such a revealing garment but, I wanted to see how the boys reacted.

As expected the Farmboy turned a nice shade of red... And the Smuggler even blushed a bit.

I left with my Hapan escort of four well built handsome guards and had a rather nice evening. The Queen pulled out all the stops with the evenings entertainment.

My boys were waiting for me to return without trying to look like they were waiting.... Next time maybe they'll turn on the holo-chess table when they want to pretend they've been doing something besides starring out the cockpit window waiting for me to return.

I decided to be coy and just walked right on by and turned back to tell them Good-night.

Tomorrow we head for Commenor so it will just be me and the Smuggler as my Farmboy will have to go back to his X-wing...

Oh, I can hear them arguing... The Smuggler is a little bit cocky telling the Farmboy that he doesn't think that a guy like him and a girl like me....

 

Lets just say that "revealing" doesn't quite cover it.

Author's Note: Due to the fact that I didn't post on Jan 1 (slight hang-over and a monoply game that went on way tooo long) the Day of the diary update is one day behind the date (This is confusing me so I'm going to post two days here...that way I'm caught up)...not that the Star Wars Universe has the same number of days as ours (I have no idea whether or not it does)...I just think it'll be easier for me to keep up with it that way.

Day 6 On board the Falcon on the way to Commenor

What to say about today? I feel like the girl on one of those reality holo-dramas where there are a bunch of guys and one girl trying to choose which one she wants to date.

With the Farmboy back in his X-Wing and planning to meet us at Commenor...it was just me and the Smuggler and he pulled out all the stops to try and impress me.

Funny thing is I'm kind of impressed with him without his doing anything. Anyway, it all started as soon as we left Hapes... We went into Hyperspace...So did Luke...Then, and I have to say by this time I just expect it, the hyperdrive on this bucket of bolts went down and we had to break into repair mode.

I played the coy princess again by not seeming to know the difference between a sonic screwdriver and a hydro-spanner. I think he knew I was flirting and it just went to his head.

He's so exciting, but there is a softer side to him...He doesn't like to show it...that much is obvious. We got to talking about our families over lunch and I was slightly overcome by emotion...I hate crying in front of anybody...

But he was very chivalrous about the whole thing. He just moved over beside and slid one arm around me and it was a bit too comforting. I hardly even know this guy and I'm spilling my guts out to him over lunch? Ok. I admit that I stayed there...enjoying the fact that he was very close...

Anyway, after a bit of that...we got the hyperdrive working again and he asked me to help him with some other part of this bucket that doesn't work right.

Well, we both wound up below the decks of the ship in very close quarters and that was when he made his move... He blubbered around and fumbled over his words...It was something I would expect from the Farmboy. Finally he managed to kiss me, without looking like it was what he was desperate to do...

It was nice. But, I had to remind him that I have too much responsibility with the Rebellion right now to be fooling around with a Smuggler in a cargo hold. I let him know that I like nice men...

He was still mumbling under his breath about that one when we landed. But then his cocky side came out as Luke came up to him demanding to know why we were four kriffing hours late.

I don't know what to think about that...but, it got even better when some blonde girl came running from across the shipyard and jumped up into the Smugglers...Planting a big kiss on his lips...I don't know who she is or where she came from...And it's not like I don't have old boy friends on half a dozen planets...

But, I felt an uncomfortable surge of jealously flare up withing me and decided that I was going to go out that night with the Farmboy and I was wearing the dress the Hapan Queen had given me...

Day 7 On Commenor, getting the hyperdrive fixed on the Falcon.

Well, the Smuggler spent all day trying to get me on my comlink...I ignored him. I didn't want to talk to him. He has a

 

Now you have Winter in on the act... oh boy. There are so many wisecracks I could say, but I'm afraid I'd violate TOS!

 

This is great. I have looked over a few females diaries in my time (not my fault, just we had the opportunity and couldn't resist [I mean how else can us guys know what you think]) and Leia is simply being her nineteen-year old self. I love it!

I have no beef with the whole accidental incest with kissing Luke, but it cannot go much further because then... well it's hot in my mind but just wrong on so many levels. I believe Han might kill him if that happens. It should be great. Can't wait for more!
