How old is the metro in Moscow. When I went to Russia I was srprised by its age, and how quickly the doors close, even when someone is in the way.

I live in Moskow. There is the oldest metro in the history. Doors not so fast. Soon will come new train. More quiet.

You don't like Metro, or Wikipedia?

I have a few comments on the doors. When there's not much of a crowd they're fine. With a crowd, I can't stand them. Those claws that grab people who don't get the green light upon entry are very intimidating.

Well... like metro, I think. ;) You have do get deep underground, and trains are quite fast ;) I haven't seen any other, so it's hard to compare. But Prague's metro wasn't crowded :)
