a suggestion for controlling socks

i've had 2 socks i think since i got here, once under the old rule, but i forgot both the password for the emailaccount i used to create it and the actual sock before i got around to using it.......the other was some situational joke about swedish biker gangs and fictional characters from memory, so i suggest we set up an allowence system, if someone is using a heap of socks, say more than one fresh sock a week they should be given a punishement

 

the grim reality is a software change will never happen, because as someone (padme bra?) brought up, that would probably require code changes of the snowboard itself, which won't happen. therefore, such changes need not be further discussed. please feel free to make any other policy suggestions though, i'm sure someone can think of something that might be worth the administration's attention. i know we can do it!

 

You know, there are some good reasons for having a sock. For example when they did an upgrade here, I wasn't able to get on with my regular user name and had to create sock to let the admins know I was having problems.

You might call it: my emergency sock.

 

I wish I could say that I'm sockpuppet free 'til Episode 3. I cheated a few times, although I have never used a sockpuppet regularly, and haven't logged in as one for a very long time.

 

A shame really.

I wanted to make four more socks.

Two for a more peaceful life, one for a lame joke, and one to use as a newbie sock.

I don't use my aliases all that much. I only use them when I find an opportunity to use them and have fun with them. Using them all the time would get pretty boring.

 

With names ranging from SearsSocketWrench to JediWarriorsSocks, I'm not after THAT much anonymity.

If they outlaw socks, I'll be happy to never post with Martin_Sheen, GHJarJar, or DarkLordOfTheSock ever again.

And they can delete th user names.

But as it stands socks are good for a laugh every once in a while, and there's no law against them, so I use 'em. Sparingly.
