Social Events ~A Super Art Challenge~ - WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Welcome to the Super Art Challenge.

Super as in Superheroes and Supervillians as the theme of this challenge. In terms of films, there has been some legends we've gotten over the years, the Dark Knight Trilogy, Wonder Woman, X-Men: Days of Future Past, the MCU hitting it's anniversary and the anticipation for the release of Avengers: Endgame. The return of the Incredibles and Big Hero 6. It is time we had fun and create some art based on our favourite heroes and villans.

There is no restrictions on which series, whether you like Batman, Wolverine, Black Widow, The Phantom, Elastigirl. The choice is up to you and there are no restrictions on how many you do.

What is the Official Fan Art Challenge?

A place for artists and fans alike to participate in quarterly themed drawing exercises.

Who can participate?

The challenge is open to anyone and all skill levels. It doesn't matter if you can paint like Picasso or you can only draw a simple stick figure, you're more than welcomed to participate.

How does the challenge work?

Any medium is accepted and as I said above, all skill levels are welcomed. You are free to submit a simple sketch or a finished piece of art.

Where should I post my challenge entries?

Right here to this thread. I want to keep all the entries in one place, but as always, you're more than welcomed to post them to your individual threads as well.

Are critiques allowed?

The short answer is yes. Let's remember to keep things within the TOS and to keep things positive and constructive. Critiques are meant to help an artist, not tear into them like there is no tomorrow.

How will voting work?

At the end of the time period, all the entries will be gathered together and voted on by your peers. This is not meant to be a serious contest, but a way to give back to the community for all the time and effort you put into this place. The entry with the highest amount of hits at the end of the voting period will be awarded something special.

This is exciting! Since I only just got into Marvel, I'm looking forward to drawing some of the characters!

 

Now is the time to do it with Into the Spider-Verse and Aquaman just out and Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel (Shazam), Avengers: Endgame and Spiderman: Far From Home coming soon.

Just need to work out which characters to do first.

I'm half tempted to show off two works I have done previously while I continue progress on something new.

If we are entering multiple pieces, should we put each in a separate post? And if so, how will that work will double posting and all, thx!

 

Separate posts would be great, it makes it easier to jump to each entry. I'm not too fussed about double posting in the Art Forum if there is content involved.
