Obviously, everything I said about repatriation, appropriation, compensation, etc. with the last mask I posted here applies to this one and will apply equally to all the African masks I post here.

I think this is the one the Guardian is talking about. With some of these items, they don’t really have official names, so the Guardian just does a descriptive title which is no help finding it at the British Museum, which helpfully lists this one as “mask.” But I did a search for MaKonde art at the museum and of the several masks that came up, I feel like this is the only one that really fits both of the descriptors in the title. That is actual human hair affixed to the bottom of the mask. Your mileage on human parts being used in art may vary; I’m kind of grossed out by it, honestly. Not as big a fan of this one as I was the last one, but it does have character.

Mulan is a fictional folk heroine from the Northern and Southern dynasties era (4th to 6th century AD) of Chinese history.
Based on this, I was able to piece something together and create a look suitable for that time period.
Her original outfit even isn't too far from the ones they actually wore in those times as far as I saw. Of course, I added heavy makeup look specific for that time period, and other stuff like hair being tied with possibly a very nice accessory. Lots of patterns and details were also very common and would have been suitable for her class (since according to what we saw in the movie, they were quite well off).

Heyo, didn't do this one in a while!
I searched for the time period of frozen and the results are July 1843, Norway.
I have to say that this time period was very unknown to me and I spent a significant amount of time searching for the things that could work, but
in the end, I managed to make something. The period in itself is not too flashy, they really did love having flowers in their heads in those times xD
I do prefer the original here, Anna's outfits for me are all great, I adore them more than Elsa's!

As previously deduced, events of Frozen are most likely set in July 1843, Norway.
And I thought making a design for Anna was hard lol. Anyways, here it is. I thought long about remaking her usuall queen dress or ice queen dress, since the blue dress is supposed to look unique. I chose that one anyway, since I wanted to keep the blue and it is more iconic look for her.
I added a bit of red, like on her earings, necklace and underneath her sleeves, making it look more royal, but also representing her warm personality hidden deep inside.
