Although get ready for our longest Star Wars movie hiatus. Although I think after IX a 2 year gap between each film is going to become the standard. Disney will make up for it in spades with shows.

 

I guess I kind of miss missing new films, and I don't say that to be contrarian.

Meant to tell you in the last movie watching thread, but since you're here Sarge; I hope you rewatch The Best Years Of Our Lives sometime. If you don't mind sentimental scenes it's a good movie. Would be curious to know your thoughts on it and on how they delt with the stories of returning war veterans.

 

Just watching Return of the Jedi while being this Lego X Wing my kids gave me for Christmas.

Damn it's just fun.

The whole Jabba story is so silly and smile inducing.

When I first saw ROTJ as a kid I enjoyed it but felt it had a rushed second half. Too much crammed in and not enough time to absorb it. In fact, pretty much how I currently feel about TROS (although that all feels rushed). Of course, not so long after I came to love it for what it is; so fingers crossed for ROTS!
