I finally got around to replacing all the silver-gray stripes with chrome. The camera doesn't do justice to how shiny they are.

I did most of it, took it to the shop for some of the things I didn't have the skills or equipment to do myself, like the short throw shifter and the aftermarket body panels.

 

I see. Well, you made god calls- your car looks great. How well does it run?

 

It's only a 4-cylinder, but it has a turbo, so it's plenty fast enough to get me into trouble. I've gone from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, and I've stiffened up the suspension so it corners really well too. Sometimes when I get tempted to have a little too much fun, I remind myself that with a car that looks like mine, I need to assume the cops are watching me like a hawk.

Dude your car is pretty cool, how long have you had it?

 

Bought it new in November 2016. It's a daily driver, been through 5 New England winters so far.

Anyone's have any star wars moment that makes you talk out loud or yell in excitement or such?

When I was young watch return of the jedi on vhs, I was on the phone. Someone asking for my mom. Suddenly Lando was on his way out of the death star and I said to the caller one moment please. Then did my Lando yee hay yell as they escape the its destroyed

 

This might amuse you. This is what a friend of mine have in his living room at home. He is such a geek. The R2-D2 is remote control and make sounds and music too (Okay, so really I am just jealous)
