    On eBay watch for Aayla Secura related items, still quite a few auctions for the Hasbro 3 3/4" Aayla Secura action figure as well as several auctions for autographed Aayla Secura promos by Ms. Amy Allen.

    Interesting is this auction for an Aayla Secura/Amy Allen autographed fridge magnet!

    On eBay watch for Aayla Secura related items, I ran into this quite amazing auction for an Aayla Secura Twi'lek costume replica!

    Quite complete as well, the auction is for the entire costume, with fully -acurately- colored headteails, pants, top, vest and even the necessary airbrush set and blue body makeup paint!

    Check out some of the images:

    Great costume, excellent creation.

    Twi'leks do seem to have become more popular, no doubt thanks to Aayla! :)
    Here are some images of fanmade Twi'lek costumes at last weekends FACTS convention in Gent, Belgium (courtesy of bejedi.com):

    Yes, a very belated Happy Birthday wish going out to Amy Allen!

    edit: and as for the bold latter part of my first post intro on the first page...I do apologize for sounding pretty harsh to all readers. It was aimed at all Aayla-Bashers as I had written it at the time when she was being bashed left and right.

    I did take a bit of Han Solo's line to the deck officer in TESB when he went out to find Luke ;)

    Here's a photo from Mark Hay, owner of Splash page Comic Art, I found at the comicartfans site about the recent Dallas Con. Amy is with well-known "good girl" pin-up and cover artist, Phil Noto.

    For those of you who have the game "Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy", there's an awesome Aayla Secura mod/skin available:
    [image=http://lexx1.users.btopenworld.com/aayla1.jpg]
    Very realistic and true to the movie/comic Aayla. You can download it here.
    (Thanks to leXX for the heads up.)

    In their Starwars.com Hyperspace online chat interview "Clone Wars" cartoon creators Genndy Tartakovsky & Paul Rudish mentioned that one of the Jedi characters we might hear with a speaking line is Aayla Secura! :)
    (Which would be a first for the character since Aayla did not have any dialogue in Episode II.)

    However when asked which actors/actresses from Episode II would lend their voices to their respective characters, they only mentioned Anthony Daniels. So it is quite possible that if Aayla Secura makes an appearance and has dialogue, that it will not be Amy Allen (who portrayed Aayla in Episode II) who will provide the voice for Aayla.

    Lets all hope Aayla does indeed make a cameo appearance. Maybe more(episode 3?). Then we can get a Clone Wars Aayla figure.
    In the meantime, Aayla is on the cover of this new RPG book!

    You can now create and purchase your own official "Custom Star Wars Collectible" at starwars.com.
    Choosing from several categories such as jedi, bounty hunters, Clone Wars cartoon, ... You can select an image and have it placed on such items as high quality prints, mugs, mousepads, coasters, ... which are then shipped out to you.

    Most interesting off course is in the "Jedi" category you can select Aayla Secura. :)
    This great promo image can then be placed on a mug, mouse pad, coaster or you can even order large, high quality prints:

    Rebelscum.com reports that several of the 2003 Hasbro 3 3/4" Jedi Knight character figures from "Epsiode II - Attack Of The Clones" are undergoing a packaging upgrade in 2004, one of these is figures is the Aayla Secura figure. The card graphics and names have been altered, the figure itself however remains the same.

    [image=http://www.rebelscum.com/toys2/aayla_secura1.jpg] [image=http://www.rebelscum.com/toys2/aayla_secura2.jpg]

    The repackaged figures may appear in stores as soon as in several weeks but most likely they won't be out in full force until early next year. You can read the entire rebelscum.com article on the repackaged figures here.

    Or check the news link to this rebeslcum.com article on the Aayla Secura fansite.

    This coming weekend, on Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30, the 24th edition of the Mid-Ohio-Con, a Comic Book and Pop Culture event, is being held in Columbus, Ohio (USA).

    Amy Allen (who portrayed Aayla Secura in Episode II) will be signing autographs all weekend long at the convention (courtesy of OSWCC). Star Wars comics artist Jan Duursema, who co-created Aayla Secura, will also be present during the entire convention weekend at the WFC booth.

    This edition of the Mid-Ohio Con is a unique chance to meet the two ladies who brought Aayla Secura to life -in the comics and on the movie screen- and even take home an autograph to commemorate the occasion! :)
