Det, MI `Across the Stars' video

According to a report in USA Today,the video for `Across the Stars'will make its debut on MTV and VH-1 on April 16.It will feature dialogue from the film and will similar in style to the `Duel of the Fates' video.

The single will also be sent out to radio stations beginning April 8,so be sure to call and request it.

 

Yahoo!! April 8th is the day before my birthday! What a sweet gift that is Then again, Idgie gets ep II itself for his B-day (talk about good timing!).

 

I hope they don't show it just once like they did with the Duel of the Fates video. I only saw it played once on MTV.

 

Really? I saw it get up to # 7 on TRL for a few days. But MTV really didn't play it nearly enough.

 

Yeah I only saw it once. But I really don't watch that much of MTV. All they play now is that hip-hop, boy band stuff and I can not stand that stuff.

 

Yeah, all that stuff gets on my nerves & I'm in the target age group! I think the last time I watched MTV was for the premire of the first ep II trailer on TRL.

 

Seems like it's generally a bad time for music these days.Oh well...

VH-1 is your best bet for seeing the video.When DOTF premiered on VH-1,they showed it repeatedly for a half hour.

 

I think the last time I actually watched MTV was for DOTF...I guess I'll have to do my tri-annual viewing once again. Thanks for the heads up!!

BTW Idgie, I was in Cleveland this week and I got a chance to drive by the digital theatre, didn't see a flick though (didn't have the time). It's not hard to find.

 

Was it like a mutiplex or is it just one theater?The reason I ask is because if we plan to go in July,I hope that AOTC will still be playing.

How come MTV has said nothing about the video, and why would there be nothin about it on the websites of MTV and StarWars?

 

I looked to and I could find nothing to. I remembered that it was listed on the main page.

 

Well it is officially the 17th and I am going to attempt to watch MTV to see if they play the video..
I think the brass (if you want to call them that) at MTV are peeved that the boys from N'Stync were cut from the film... (hehehe)

 

Well, it's the 18th...and I've yet to see the video for this.

Did anyone else have better luck?

 

The official date is the 23rd. MTV at 4:00

 

Gah! I forgot to set up my VCR before I left for work this morning...

I just watched it online, here: 'Across the Stars' - Quicktime Format

And I have to say...I loved the opening bit with Obi-Wan...and I had chill while watching the whole thing (most of which we've already seen in the previous trailers).
