I'll be neutral in this, if I may LadyVader?

I know that most, if not all, of these activities would be the basis for a good day out ? and I'd be delighted to offer my assistance in organising them.

But as part of the hosting team, politeness demands that I abide by our guests preferences....

I am such a dozy git at times though. I'm looking at the thread thinking " wonder how you post a vote" while the "vote here" button was flashing in front of my eyes.

Don't mind what we do cos I'm in Glasgow every other day anyway - I won't be gutted if we don't get to do everything...
Was the suggestion about going to Paisley serious?!!! [face_shocked] It's bad enough that I was born there - don't make me go back!!! :_| ;)

How about going to the Quay - there's the cinema and bowling and laser quest I think... (Was in Edinburgh too long - I get it confused with Fountainbridge... [face_blush]) And there's food places too of course. Or if the weather's nice we could just descend on Glasgow Green and have light saber/water fights (cos we're all soooo mature!).

Why don't we go drinking instead of doing anything. Then we'll get into a fight and be taken to hospital in a really loud van. Then you get a free trip home. Its the easiest way to avoid paying for a taxi.

Edit: Hey, why don't we meet up in August. At the Edinburgh Film Festival, none other than SAMUEL L. JACKSON is going to be there. I'm getting a press pass so hopefully I'll be interviewing him (web site BABY) or at least get to ask him a few questions.

If you wanted to have FUN, we could kidnap him and ask Lucas for ransom money to get his precious Jedi back. On second thoughts, I don't want to go to prison. But seriously, why not go to the EIFF. I went last year and it was great. Christopher Nolan is also going to be there and since Memento is one of my favourite films I will be hoping to meet him too.

I rather leave Glasgow alive ;)

If you want to organise a meetup for August can you discuss it in another thread please as it's enough trouble trying to keep up as it is. :p
