Sir Anthony Hopkins. Good guy, villain, I don’t care.

Gary Oldman. Remarkable actor. Can do anything. Like Hopkins, he could be a sinister villain or an earnest good guy, and pull either off with aplomb.

I’m sure I read in some dark recess of the internet a rumour that Isla Fisher had been sounded out about a role in a potential future Star Wars movie. I’m sure it implied a major role in a future trilogy in fact. Lord knows where I saw it. I’d go with her though!

I think Jason Momoa would make a good Dash Rendar, and also wouldn't seem like a Han clone. Could even have a reunion with Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra.

 

Zahn McClarnon as a Sith Lord/Dark Jedi.

 

Bob Odenkirk as Saun Dann (from the Holiday Special). With Art Carney gone, Odenkirk would be a spectacular choice of actor to bring back this beloved character. Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad prove that he has the charisma and talent. I'm confident Odenkirk could take on the likeness of Saun Dann in the same way that Ewan McGregor took on the likeness of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Just picture Saul Goodman in Star Wars! Star Wars needs a conman with a heart of gold. And Chewbacca's dad needs somebody to sell him VR headsets with...ahem...adult entertainment value.

 

I'm sure I've said it before. Robert Englund.

 

Would love to see Benedict Cumberbatch as a Jedi master. Robert Pattinson would also be a cool Sith lord. Claire Foy also needs to be in SW asap.

 

I'd like to see someone like Glen Powell, Michael B Jordan, or Simu Liu as a post-TROS Jedi, a cool Han Solo type with no affiliation to any new Jedi Order, no robes, no code, no "may the force be with you", and questionable morality. Just a scumbag who happens to find out they're force sensitive. He only has a lightsaber cause he stole it.

And maybe on the other side you could have a sketchy Jedi "extremist" who's hardcore about the code, punishing their Jedi daughters for forming attachments, that kinda thing. Played by someone like Jeremy Irons.

I would like to see Patrick Stewart as Rajivari one of the founding members of the Jedi Order in Legends i think that character can work in the New Canon
