Here I thought it would be fun to list the books you want to read in the future
When you think of or discover another book that looks good enough to read, feel free to post.

    Own, Plan to Read
Star Wars: Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray
    Twilight: Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer
Twilight: Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
How To Be Anti-Racist by Ibram X Kendi

    Want to Get:
Capital by Karl Marx (have read parts online)
    Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
    Starship Trooper by Robert Heinlein
    Horizon by Jodi Dean
Kiss Her Once For Me by Alison Cochrun

This is just mine, so far. I'd love to see what others have planned or want to read in the future. This is not a conclusive list for me.

Atlas Shrugged is a long book. I've read it more than a few times and wore out one paperback of it. Given the size of the volume it might be one for the Kindle if you have one (or a similar device).
I've got a whole list of books I want to get when they come out. I'm expecting an Amazon UK order (part 2 of a split shipment) which has
Elizabeth of York by Alison Weir and echo by Thomas Olde Heuvelt in it.

Speaking of long books, I forgot to mention- I've tried reading War and Peace by Tolstoy twice. I still want to finish it for completion's sake.

I think I tried that and didn't finish it but that was a long time ago.

I'd also be interested in checking out Noam Chomsky's writing- maybe Requiem for the American Dream as a starter.

I also want to check out the Discworld series at some point by Terry Pratchett.

Recently picked up Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell and looking forward to reading it. A few people have recommended this book over the years.

Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zinn. I've read another book of his about mindfulness meditation and it is quite helpful material.

The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
Always loved the movie and have had a copy of the book for a few years and really need to finally make time to read it.

Gah, typo there. It's "Predator" not "Preator".

Somebody also recommended Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series. It'll probably be 2026 before I get to everything I put here.

happy to hear other peoples' books that they want to read!

I should give Moby Dick a re-read if I ever get around to it. I chose it to do a book report on back in high school. It was a long slog, I didn't understand most of what was going on...I think I turned it in late and got either a D or an F. Maybe it'll make more sense to me if I give it another go.
