Admin Account Upkeep

I'm sorry, but I feel that I should post as a normal user on what I think of this situation...

1. IT SUCKS.

2. I want more information.

Why hasn't this Scott dude replied to this thread? Or mentioned to the midwest fan force why he chose to demote Seb-X? The only information I have is rumor...but this is it:

Sebulba-X was demoted because he wrote a trading card review for a rival site. That site has message boards that happen to have one poster who hacks the TFN staff boards and post conversations there. Therefore, no one can write for any rival sites determined by Chitwood.

Now the admins are uhnder "martial law" so that's how Scott justified demoting Seb-X without warning or discussion.

So, naturally, Bobafemme decided to remove herself from such a dishonorable adminsitration.

It sounds like a load of steaming crap to me. I belive these were the best two admins that the FanForce ever had, and you can cast your vote here:

As for this Scott dude, his lack of a response to this situation is a representation of his lack of leadership. I'm not sure if he's posted about this on the admin boards, but I know I haven't seen anything on the Midwest, South Bend, Indianapolis, Minnisota, or Chicago boards. And I just checked here in the Comm. board to make sure.

I would like more information about this. I know that the cities of the midwest would as well. Thank you.

I appologize. I guess it would be my job to let those Fanforce chapter know about the status of their RSAs. I will let you guys know ASAP about what we plan on doing.

As for Scott, I have been in contact him and we are working hard on trying to avoid these unfortunate situations.

We will not allow Fanforce to fall apart because of some punk kids grudge against these boards.

Bickering people -- sometimes behind closed doors, sometimes almost out in the open but not quite, with destorted info and all kinds of half-right bits and pieces dripping out, people guessing, people insinuating, people referring to all kinds of things we, the average posters, don't know about but still keep hearing about all the time, stories and rumours about people doing this, people doing that...

It's a completely sour and unhealthy situation. This is not fun. When I was a kid, I definitely couldn't have foreseen Star Wars would one day have this aspect.

To keep my sanity, and my love for the films, I'm thinking about either remaining forever in the safety of my "Debo's Star Wars Memories Spectacular" thread, where we celebrate the fun that's Star Wars, or taking a very long break from this all.

I'm not pointing fingers, but this is just sad.

This is an internet message board not the UN - do not treat it as some sacred institution. It is not representative of Star Wars or all Star Wars fans; not even one percent of SW fans, I'd wager (what with all of JediWarrior's socks).

Just let it go. Stop the drama, for pity's sake.

Unless you have seen every piece of communication that has gone on between the staff and all of the moderators involved (current and former), you are forming opinions on things which you don't know everything about.
