Rogue One Admiral Raddus Discussion Thread (and Fan Club)

Entirely plausible given the radness of Raddus

 

Unfortunately, if he survived the assault on the frigate by Vader, he was likely imprisoned on the Death Star. And we all know how that ended up

Admiral Raddus is now just as worthy of remembrance as Ackbar, IMO. I thought he was great.

 

Somebody should edit Chuck's head to be Admiral Raddus. He's that awesome.

However Jyn was in an imperial prison so maybe but I don't think they will have wanted survivors from the Tentive. Raddus might have some quality time with an Imperial Probe droid but as they didn't learn the location of the Rebel base thats also unlikely.

 

Raddus was a legendary prankster at the Academy. He'd construct wild chain reactions on unsuspecting recruits. All accept one. Ackbar always saw them coming.

I immediately liked his appearance even before the battle.

The very presence of a Mon Cal leader was an effective way to tie RO to the broader OT and not just to ANH specifically. The Mon Cal are a cornerstone of the Rebel Alliance, and including them in RO was an excellent decision, long overdue.

 

Word is,the Emperor wouldn't show his face in the Saga until there was a whole movie between himself and Raddus....just to be safe.

I hope we get more of this BAMF in Rebels!!

 

Raddus was awesome. One thing though, why don't the Mon Cals have fighters? Would be incredible to see a squadron of Mon Cal fighters swarming around & smashing TIE's. I hope they appear in the ST. In fact no reason why Raddus can't be in the ST! Ackbar's still kicking around.

Is Raddus confirmed dead or just captured at the end of R1?

 

The theory is he was one of the 1st people to be killed by Darth Vader and the boarding party or he was captured.Remember though we didn't see his body so I think he was sent to a imperial work camp and organized a uprising and escaped.

 

Of course Raddus charged into battle, even his balls have balls.
