I take my place at the back of the line, and place my heavy duffel bag carefully on the ground next to me. It's a little warm to be wearing my trench coat, but that won't matter soon. I silently pray to Our Lord And Saviour, thanking Him for allowing me to perform the most righteous act I am about to commit.

Is this like a Batman character? Extremely wealthy and capable of creating actual societal change but instead dresses up like a nonce and attacks the symptoms instead of the disease?

Has the line moved since yesterday? I'm hesitant to step in to an unmoving line, like the one at Trader Joe's. If I add myself to that line I worry that I'll reach my final destination long before I reach any kind of destination that might possibly also include bread.
