Ok! Should we each, like, post what we requested and then everybody cn agree to write something? That could be cool!

(I can't believe one of my little schemes is actually catching on! )

Edit: I had a thought. Like, if everyone just PMs me what there request was, I can make a big master list post thing, and everybody can volunteer to take one, you know? Like, I can edit the post to say which ones have been taken until everybody gets something! Sound cool?

 

Hello, Everyone! I see everyone had fun/frustrations with their challenges.

Part of it was a lack of foresight. For future reference, I promise to not go off and have a baby in the thick of it next time .

Those who did get everything alright seemed to have fun, so I intend to do it next year but in a more efficient, organized way.

Before I ask for comments and suggestions, I want to throw out a few ideas of my own...
1) All submissions would be sent to a sock which would be used for the sole purpose of the event. After a lengthy submission time, I will compile the challenges with Ishtar, and then PM them. This way, if one of us gets sick, ect. we will be able to tell what's missing/needs to be picked up. Part of the problem was that people were PMing asking questions that I had no answers/knowledge about.
2) Throughout the submission time, we can make a master list of topic and come up with a way of assigning/drawing them.
3) Have an extended turn in rate.

For those of you who had problems this time around, accept our apologies and do stop in next time- we hope all shall go better!

*Sigh* It's very frustrating, this. It's the third straight time I've participated in something like this and had my request not done. I did mine. Was a bit late, but I did it.

 

Oh, well, it was only my first time. But I'd post my request but I don't remember what I exactly put. So, Ish would have mine. I know it had something to do with Obi-Wan, but I'm not sure what.

But I'd be willing to try my hand at an undone one.

I'll be glad to do another one as well, as long as it's not in the Beyond genre. I don't know anything about that one.

I seem to be doing a lot of things late lately.

I promise to get my SSE done. Eventually.

Okay, after much consideration (and procrastination!) I have decided to do this anew... This thread shall be locked and a new one put up for Valentines Day! I hope to see you all there! This time, there won't be so much confusion- we have learned from this time's mistakes!
