The other difference is that in the epilogue the building is damaged, but is not in Ahsoka. I’ll admit that there is a good chance it is supposed to be the same scene, but at the moment I like the idea of keeping them separate.

 

I totally get this very plausible interpretation. But none of that is on screen. Based on how the story is presented, the NR leadership is essentially presented as the villain in Hera’s story. Petty, mean, willfully ignorant, short-sighted, ungrateful, vindictive and threatening. Had the script included just a smidgeon of what you wrote, it’d be golden.

There’s nothing in the Rebels version indicating that the mural had been recently moved, so it can be later in the timeline. And given that Ahsoka has her white outfit on in Rebels, and given the presence of Huyang, it’s likely a different scene, IMO.

 

I find that extremely unlikely. They made everything else, including Sabine's ever-changing hair, similar for a reason.

 

Yeah, the robe change was pretty obviously a retcon so that Filoni could show her catharsis on-screen in this show. It probably originally intended to happen during her stay at Casa del Malachor. One of the concept pics for The Jedi did show her in a white robe. But for various reasons, the Mandoverse era ended up being the next actual opportunity to continue Ahsoka's story on-screen so the event was moved forward.

 

Yea, Star Wars Explained has discussed it quite a bit and really given it some context. I am glad however it was shown as part of her journey.

 

I think it’s pretty clear through Huyang’s dialogue (people don’t vanish “under normal circumstances”) that she wasn’t unconscious in the water the whole time, Anakin catches her in the WBW and she stays there physically. At the end of the duel she reholsters her sabers and gets let back out into the real world.
