I hope it's true; he's the intuitive choice IMO.

 

I don't know if Lars has the voice for Thrawn. I'd hate for it to be like Katee Sackhoff, who sounds nothing like Bo.

Interesting. The voice actress, who also played the live action character does sound like the character she is. Interesting logic.

 

I figured the Bo-Katan comment would make it clear it was a joke, but I guess I misjudged that one.

 

My first thought about your first comment is that it is almost certainly sarcasm But these days you can't be 100% sure about these things.

There are people who will accept blindly every characterization they are given because LFL and Disney can do no wrong, and then there are also people that will criticize every single casting and characterization in the whole franchise

Barriss opens up so many possibilities that can enhance the PT and ST, her character is not a villain but she did do the wrong thing for a very good reason. She was the first Jedi i can recall that could Force-heal, something that has only just emerged on the big screen with Rey in TROS. Her inclusion would be a good way to explain the ability to an audience, possibly enhancing TROS and what is still a controversial and misunderstood scene for none SW fans.

Yes. He’s the voice actor for Thrawn in Rebels.

 

Their are a host of characters who could turn up in this show The ones i would like to see would be Hera followed by Sabine. My Choices for the roles may be at different than others I would like Hera to be Zoe Saldana or Tessa Thompson and I will stick to my choice for Sabine as Elodie Yung

 

I think Hera is more likely to make a cameo in Rangers of the New Republic

 

She could be in both to be fair.

 

Casting RDJ as thrawn is just horrible idea. I hope is just baseless rumor.

Lars Mikkelsen is the natural choice for Thrawn, but I wouldn't be against another actor if they found someone better. Robert Downey Jr. though, sounds like a terrible idea. He would really be playing against type if that was the case, and if he could pull it off, I would be really impressed.
