I personally don't think Glasgow would be a nice location for the festivities next summer. The city of Edinburgh would be a far better choice in my opinion. Its much more beautiful and you'd have a better chance of understanding the local dialect.

Other English locales to consider are Cambridge and Oxford. Aside from their universities, both places are great to visit especially in the summer and have a lot of history. To my knowledge they don't have spectacular cinemas, but its relatively easy to get to central London from there for a day out to watch episode 2.

Also money-wise, I don't think Glasgow would be that much cheaper than London. You can get single rooms in the heart of London from as little as £14 per night. Here's one example.

Well, it would be nice to actually meet some of you guys! London sounds like a cool place to link up (and convenient for us Brits) but I also understand the difficulties with other European fans travelling to the UK. You would however, be garaunteed a big turn out from the Brits!

 

We should really, REALLY decide something about the place... I propose a poll.
