All London members report in (7/07/2005)

After what happened on the tubes network today, I want a status report to confirm you are okay, even if we don't know each other.

For those who have not heard, a serious of explosions affected several Tube stations in London just before 9am.
Initially put down to power surges.

This is a most peculiar situation, Its not clear how serious the damage is

 

I'm still here, alive and well....

 

Same as FatBurt, not in London but i hope everyone is ok

 

I'm not in London but my brother is. He doesn't use the underground or buses though so I'm sure he's alright.

 

All my significant others are safe and sound. Some in Central London and some further out. My thoughts are with us all right now. Do what you can to stay safe people!

 

Ah right, I've put another thread on this below, I shall lock it now....really sad turn of events. Just down the road from me actually.

 

Not been out yet.
Not near central London.
Still a little scared though.

 

Apparently it is the work of Al Queda, don't flame me...I heard it on BBC NEWS 24 now....just informing you. But that is just speculation though.

 

Not a Englishman, but an Irish/Australian offering my condolences to anyone involved.
Bad stuff to have happen to such a great part of the world.

 

I'm OK, don't know where three of my friends are, but I'm OK.

Don't live in London but just posting my condolences for anyone living in London or with friends out there.

 

I live out near Heathrow so I am not in Central London (though I go there quite a bit). Glad I didn't go today! I hope all our members and their families are OK.

I'm suppose to be in London at the momment but had to delay a year because of work.
I'll be there next year, but mainly in Ireland.
Kind of makes me almost not want to go, but then I guess the attackers win if they change the way we live.
**** them. God have mercy on them, because no one else will.

 

I was at school picking up my yearbook. Glad I wasn't in London at the time, and I hope all the central London members are okay.

I'm sitting here with my ear glued to Radio 4. Should be hearing from Tony Blair soon....

I hope everyone and families from the FF are alright. My prayers are with you all.

 

Although I'm not in London, my heart goes out to any of the injured and the familys who may have been hit in this tragedy. I'm sitting here watching the news, and the things I'm seeing are making feel angry and sort of numb. As someone who has been a small part of the emergency services, I am pleased to see them showing their dedication and helping as much as they possibly can. Everyone in London will be in my thoughts

 

I pray that everyone is well and safe. Please know that all my thoughts are with you.
