Whilst F1 Stock Car racing is damn good and noisy, I'm tellin' about Formula 1 - the single seater variant...

Join in Wormie..everyone else has and they all know squat about F1 too...

    I'll think about it.

I'm just kinda scared of what a Brit's idea of stock car racing is.....

British Stock Car racing is this sort of thing:

    http://www.incarace.co.uk/f1.html

Noisy, beefy V8s running around (mostly) indoor ovals...good racing...

What's an American stock car then?

Don't mind them Poodu, I really like Star Trek too. Mostly Deep Space Nine. I don't see why we can't like Star Wars and Star Trek!!!!!

Thas right Fungi... I can understand the disdain for the total nutters out there...but there are one or two complete nutters for Star Wars in the same way...and what do you reckon they think about Star Wars fans? Exactly the same as we/you do about Trekkies...
In my humblest, we're no better than them if we bitch and moan about Trekkies...so there!

I guess American Stock Cars aren't actually Stock Cars but banger racers or Nascar type things...in other words, not Stock Cars, I suppose..

Quite a bit lately, cos we're in our own little section...don't think many admins come in this way much

First Contact was on on Wednesday or something, I think...good film...

Granted...it is the best Trek film....because it had a little action which is generally lacking in most of the films...

Insurrection...the joystick incident buried all respect for the franchise for me though..

Mind you I've bought nearly all the Bonds on DVD so I shouldn't talk...

    Roger Moore.....

Insurrection was a little lame...my fave is probably Undiscovered Country though...despite the fact they all looked ancient, at least they made no attempt to make them look like actively serving members of the Federation anymore..sent them off as a token gesture to meet the Klingons...

First Contact is likely to remain the best of the Next Generation films though...depending on what the Gladiator scribe chucks out for the next one though.

I'm partial to Roger Moore. Maybe it's because he was Bond when I started watching the films. Or maybe it's because I don't much care for Sean Connery. Or maybe it's because I'm always rooting for the underdog. Could also be because I'm tired. Not sure which.

Roger Moore...urgh...did anyone see the World Sports Awards? Could they have picked anyone with any less knowledge of sport to present it?? All he done was try lamely to chat up the German co-presenter...

It's just the Connery was so dark...he was a killer...a real ruthless bast@rd..

Mr Moore play's it for laughs, and he grunts when he get's hit...Sean never grunted, he would take that punch...

    *pant* *pant*

    Sorry
