    The image in the post above, "War/Aftermath", is the best fan-made teaser poster I have ever seen.

    It's like the Statue of Liberty in disaster movies...it's iconic, so harming it evokes emotion. ;)

    Foreseeing into the future? I could see the Falcon take a pummeling, actually anything really iconic from the OT might be in danger. Can't see everything making it out unscathed, you know? (aside from the droids, they always make it through. It is ultimately Artoo's story anyway)

    Well this is JJ Abrams we're dealing with and he seems to love destroying iconic vechicles*The USS Enterprise* so I think we should all be prepared for Falcon to bite the dust :p

    I don't have a problem with Hugo, but I'd rather see a previously-unknown actor as Thrawn and possibly John Noble as Palleon.

    I'll admit I imagined Thrawn with sort of a Leonard-Nimoy/Hugo Weaving methodical voice when I read the books (not that silly American accent or higher-pitched voice they gave him in the videogames... urgh...).

    I posted this in another forum when Star Trek: Into Darkness came out, but I could also see Benedict Cumberbatch at Thrawn.

    The thing I love about the tone the artist is going for in these posters is that, yes, the Empire was destroyed in Ep. 6 but then Ep. 7 would be a mopping up action that literally takes decades and can still be an incredibly messy affair. I have no idea if that will happen in the movie, but it could be an interesting theme to play with, the "price of peace" and all that.

    Just been doodling around with some random ideas of what stuff we might get to see in ST, thought I'd share. Just some sketches - a probable evolution of New Republic craft along with a new TIE and just this random...cobbled together, military gunship kind of thing up there on top.
