It's been over since day one of 2008, the team needs to quit the finesse garbage and work on getting some toughness. If you cant win beat your opponent into the ground, that way the next time they play you they fear you. Until that happens cheer on another Buffalo team that can win.....the Bills and the Sabres certainly can't

Now we just need Boston of Philly to fold...

 

As of now, Sabres can still past Philly and have the exact same record of Boston.
Does anyone know what is the record of Boston vs Buffalo this year?

 

well doesn't matter anymore.

 

They suck! I needed the Sabres to win so Pittsburgh would be in 1st place, but good ol' Softie Miller tanked them again. Oh well at least the Pens are in the playoffs + they still have a chance for 1st.

 

The fact of the matter is the Sabres didn't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway. Would I of liked to see, yes it would of been great. At the same time how could a team with as many good players as the next not put together some more wins. The guys on the radio are calling for change, I think they should add some veteran talent and keep the core of the team. Keep in mind that there are they were only missing a few of the players that took them deep in the playoffs kast year.

You can't blame it on the loss of Drury, Briere, Zubrus, Conklin and eventually Campbell. Part of the blame goes to the front office and the rest goes to the team. Last time I checked it was the name on the front that mattered not the name on the back.

Oh well they can once again be fodder for the Sens next year!!!

 

Are you guys still watching hockey? I am, Hockey is my favorite sport being raised in Canada.

 

Well they air the Cap's games down here (think MSG, but for Washington/Baltimore), so I'll probably catch a few of their games here and there...

 

The Caps are red hot right now and are fun to watch. I'm happy they made it to the playoffs, it's been a long time they had a post-season. I say Caps in 5.

 

I am particularly psyched for the Ottawa\Pittsburgh series...should be very interesting

Montreal looks good this year.

 

I wanna see Calgary and Ottawa do something. Of course I think Montreal is taking it all

 

Pittsburgh Montreal are looking good in East and Detroit look amazing in the West.

 

does anyone feel better that all former Sabres Briere, Drury and Campbell are out of Stanley Cup contention?
Only Ty Conklin who hasn't play 1 game yet for Pens can win.

Oh and Conklin played when Fleury got injured in the middle of the season.

It's going to be a good cup that's for sure. Rootin for the Pens, I'm an East backer.

 

Well the Pens got crushed 4-0, but we still had a great time in Pittsburgh! There were 14,000 + fans at Mellon Arena...the atmosphere was AWESOME!!! Here are a few pix:
